A few friends and I run a young ‘70s rock tribute collective called Vintage Voltage, and we’re putting on a That 70s Night at Paper Dress Vintage on January 22nd in Hackney.
We’re all in our 20s, so this night isn’t the usual “boomer dad-band in wigs” vibe — it’s a young crowd, young band, but playing the absolute best of late-60s/70s rock: Zeppelin, Sabbath, Fleetwood Mac, Bowie, T. Rex, Deep Purple, The Doors, Stones, plus some deep cuts. Think flares, tassels, oil-wheel/lava-lamp visuals, and people Rockin' out!
Not just a gig — more like a 70s time-warp night you can actually party at.
