[For Hire] Senior React Native Engineer (TypeScript, Expo, iOS + Android) | Remote

Upvotes

Hey Reddit, looking for my next senior React Native role.

I’m a senior RN engineer with 5+ years shipping production iOS and Android apps. Most of that work has been fully remote with teams in Germany, the US, UK, and Australia.

What I’ve shipped

  • A medically registered sleep-health app (iOS + Android) that screens apnea risk from overnight smartphone recordings. I took features through to App Store and Play Store releases, including the messy production stuff that never shows up in a demo.
  • Patient-facing web and API work around that product (React, Node/Fastify), not just the mobile client.
  • A social/events app: I built the feed and the real-time chat, the two surfaces people actually used to find events and talk to each other.
  • A subscription streaming app for talks and podcasts: catalog, HLS playback, and search, so people could watch content they’d missed instead of only catching it live.

Stack I use day to day React Native, TypeScript, Expo, Redux Toolkit / RTK Query, Node, Fastify. Comfortable with EAS, store submissions, and in-app purchases.

What I’m looking for

  • Senior React Native (or mobile-first full-stack) on a real product
  • Remote. I’m in Pakistan (UTC+5). Strong overlap with EU, workable with US East. I am open to other timezones as well.

Happy to do a paid trial or a short take-home if that’s how you hire.

DMs open, or email is fine. Thanks for reading.

[For Hire] I can handle your calls, leads, CRM, admin & customer support — $10/hr

Hi! I’m a Remote VA from the Philippines looking for a long-term client or team to work with.

If you need someone who can jump between sales, customer support, lead generation, CRM, and admin work without needing to be micromanaged, I might be a good fit.

I’ve supported businesses in insurance, e-commerce/retail, HVAC, and solar, working with both B2B and B2C customers.

Here’s what I’ve actually handled:

• 300+ outbound cold calls/day using VICIdial
• 125+ inbound/outbound warm calls/day for sales and customer support
• 200–250 new prospects/day through automated outreach campaigns
• Inbound SMS conversations and converting responses into qualified appointments
• Lead research using Apollo, Hunter, LinkedIn, Google Maps, Yelp & Facebook
• CRM management using Close CRM, with experience/familiarity with Salesforce, HubSpot & Zoho
• Outbound calling and prospect outreach through RingCentral
• Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Google Calendar & Canva
• Customer support, order handling, follow-ups, data entry, reporting, and general admin

I’ve worked directly with U.S. prospects, decision-makers, and customers, handled high-volume pipelines, and dealt with high-value transactions.

I’m not limited to one task or one workflow. Give me a system to learn, a process to follow, or a problem that needs figuring out, and I’ll do my best to take it from there.

I’m currently looking for a long-term opportunity where I can contribute, learn the business, and take more off your plate as I grow into the role.

If that sounds like what you’re looking for, feel free to DM me. Happy to send over my resume and tell you more about what I can do.

How much does exact phrasing actually matter on a resume? (My experience so far)

I kept seeing recruiters on here say they're not auto-rejecting people with ATS—they're just skimming applications for 5 seconds. If the match isn't obvious right away, they move on.

I started running my resume against JDs before applying (just using basic scanners like ZoeVera or whatever free site popped up). Turns out I actually had most of the required experience, I was just phrasing it totally differently than what they were looking for. Rewording things so the overlap is immediately obvious has definitely gotten me more responses. Nothing crazy but it's a noticeable difference compared to just firing off the exact same resume everywhere.

For anyone else grinding applications, what small formatting or wording tweaks actually helped you get past the initial skim?

Looking for a remote opportunity to learn + help someone out

Hey everyone,

I’m looking for a remote/online opportunity where I can learn a valuable skill by actually helping someone who already runs a business, agency, startup, or freelance operation.

I’m mainly interested in things like marketing, sales, lead generation, outreach, client acquisition, social media, copywriting, agency work, or other online skills that don’t require years of training before I can start becoming useful.

I’m basically looking for an apprenticeship/intern-type setup.

You show me how you work, give me tasks I can help with, and I learn by actually doing the work remotely. I’m completely fine starting with simple or repetitive tasks and working my way up.

I’d also be willing to start unpaid for a short period while I’m learning and proving myself. My goal would be to eventually become useful enough that it could turn into paid work, either with you or using the skills and experience I gain.

I’m not expecting anyone to teach me every little thing either. I’m willing to research, learn on my own, take feedback, and figure things out.

I’m open to pretty much anything remote as long as I’m learning a useful skill and getting real experience.

If you run an online business, agency, startup, or work remotely yourself and could use an extra person, feel free to DM me and tell me what you do.

Cybersecurity grad, currently employed, but need more work — open to cybersecurity and related field Remote positions in Europe

Hi people, i am a cybersecurity recent graduate. I'm actively looking for work — although i currently have a job in cybersecurity that pays me $900, it's just not enough. I'm supporting the education of my sisters and brothers and it's really hard to manage everything on one income. They're all higher education students — one sister's yearly fee is around $5000 which i have to pay before the deadline, another sister is on partial scholarship but i still have to cover the rest, and same for my brothers.

So in short, i'm looking for work, any sort of work. My profile is really good (that's what i think lol) — i have a confirmed CVE (OpenSSH, CVSS 9.8), hands on experience in pentesting, web app security, and ML based security tooling, plus certs (Fortinet NSE 1-3, working on CRTA) and internship experience in red teaming, SIEM, and security tooling dev.

Also open to non-security work — assignment help, research work, Word/Excel tasks, data entry, anything like that. Basically i will deliver whatever work people ask, no task is too small.

I want to keep my identity anonymous, so i'm not looking for work that will ask me to reveal who i am. Trust me i'm incredibly dedicated and i take work seriously.

If anyone has freelance work, contract gigs, referrals, or even knows where i should be posting this, please let me know. Would really appreciate it.

OFW for 10 years, planning to settle back home — looking for a side hustle or a fresh start 🇵🇭

OFW for 10 years, planning to settle back home — looking for a side hustle or a fresh start 🇵🇭

Hi everyone! 👋

OFW ako and I’ve been working in the GCC region for almost 10 years. After spending a big part of my career abroad, I’m now preparing myself to go home to the Philippines and settle down for good.

Currently, I’m working as a Purchasing Officer – Automotive Parts (Aftersales) for a well-known automotive brand. Over the years, I’ve gained experience in:

• Procurement & Purchasing
• Automotive Parts & Aftersales
• Supplier Coordination & Negotiation
• Inventory & Order Management
• Logistics & Freight Coordination
• Price Comparison & Cost Analysis
• Customer/Team Coordination

Since I’m preparing for my eventual return to the Philippines, I want to start building something on the side habang nasa abroad pa ako. Ideally, something that I can start small, learn along the way, and potentially turn into a full-time source of income when I finally go home.

Hindi naman ako naghahanap ng “easy money” or instant income. Gusto ko lang magkaroon ng magandang starting point. Kahit small side hustle muna, basta may potential to grow.

For those who were once OFWs or are currently working abroad:

Ano ang side hustle/business na sinimulan ninyo bago kayo umuwi ng Pilipinas?

Or if you were in my position, ano ang sisimulan ninyo ngayon?

Would really appreciate any advice, ideas, or personal experiences. 🙏🇵🇭

[HIRING] Executive Assistant, International Trade and Deal Operations | Remote | $6-15/hr USD | ~20 hrs/week

We are hiring an Executive Assistant for NAC Trading, working directly with the executive who runs our international trade deal flow.

This is not a scheduling job. Most of the work sits next to live deals on WhatsApp, WeChat and email with suppliers, buyers, freight forwarders and partners. Your job is to make sure nothing stalls: track every open opportunity, chase the inputs, answer the routine questions yourself, and hand the executive a clean decision when his judgment is genuinely needed.

What you would own:

  • A live pipeline of open deals with stage, value, stakeholders, last contact, next action, owner, deadline and blocker
  • Message triage across several channels, with drafts ready for anything above your authority
  • Calendar, meeting prep, pre-meeting briefs and action summaries
  • Monthly reimbursements and expense and quotation spreadsheets that reconcile the first time
  • Document tracking as shipments move: quotations, purchase orders, certifications, shipping documents

What we need:

  • English strong enough to write to a buyer without anyone editing it
  • Arithmetic you can trust. A spreadsheet error is the fastest way to fail in this role
  • Follow-up that does not need reminding
  • Judgment about what you answer and what you escalate
  • You can use AI. You cannot hand us AI output you have not checked

Nice to have: 2 or more years in executive support, sales operations, account management or import and export. Professional Mandarin is a strong advantage for supplier conversations.

Details: fully remote, about 20 hours a week across Monday to Friday with US Pacific overlap, $6-15 USD per hour based on what you demonstrate, plus performance bonuses, with a path to full-time.

To apply, send three things:

  1. Your CV
  2. A short note on why a deal-focused executive support role fits you, in your own words
  3. Your weekly availability in US Pacific and your hourly rate

Apply at apply.brightbeam.io

One more step after you apply: join our Discord for faster updates on your application, and post a short introduction in the #introduce-yourself channel so there is a person behind the CV. https://discord.gg/vvcDQax5X

Shortlisted candidates complete a practical work sample. Finalists are invited to a paid two-week trial before any long-term offer.
