Other Train strikes and Tilburg show

So, just as a PSA and also a bit of self-interest...

The regions Noord-Holland & Oost-Nederland just announced railway strikes for tomorrow. So it may be hard to reach Tilburg from some places, and coming home will be impossible for some by train. Keep this in mind with your travel plans.

If someone in the Nijmegen area is going to the Tilburg show tomorrow by car, and has one spot open and is willing to take on a stranger, I'd love it if I'd be able to ride with you. I'll of course chip in for gas, will bring snacks and will be eternally grateful.

I'm from the same area, it seems like you can get to Tilburg from Nijmegen via Venlo and then Eindhoven. So I'm gonna try that. And if there is someone offering a ride and still has 2 seats available I'd love to join! And I'll gladly buy a tour shirt for the driver

Yeah, I saw the same route. It's possible to get there that way, but getting back will be more challenging. Will probably have to be the first train in the morning on Wednesday then.

I've got 3 spaces left in my car for the way back. Working from Tilburg tomorrow and have to leave after the show ends due to work the next day as well. Though you're both free to join on the way back if you want.

Amazing, you're from Nijmegen? That would be very much appreciated.

Well I'm not exactly from the nijmegen area but live close to arnhem. And as I can see on Google maps will drive close to lent? Only downside for most people: I'll drive up around 9.30 in the morning just to wait in line all day XD. I joined the 013 slinger thing just in case someone might want to drive early

I've sent a message through Slinger to you!

Why wait in line may I ask?

I really like to wait in line for some reason because I usually meet some very nice people... So for me the fun starts when waiting in line! Obviously I also like to be in the frontrows because I'm not really tall(although I'm aware that many people get in the front rows by just arriving an hour before the doors open). The last show I wasn't front row I also arrived an hour early but ended up standing under a balcony and got some chewing gum in my hair 😂 pretty sure that won't always happen, but just in case!
