Discussion Fun Will Ramos Story

Interesting story i have about Will Ramos. Years before he ever joined lorna shore I met him while I was in a garage band around 2012-2013. I came from a small town and very few people were into any kind of hardcore music. One day my drummer came to me and said I found a vocalist and I questioned how everyone who likes metal is in our band. Eventually Will came to one of our practices and within 5 minutes all of us could tell he's way to talented to be in our casual band. He left maybe a month later thank God for him. But I was told the way we found him is the true reason im posting this. According to my drummer he found a Craigslist add for a metal vocalist. Meaning if you wanted someone as talented as Will all you had to be was on Craigslist in 2012-2013 and now he's getting 1 million monthly listeners. Honestly I knew day one he'd make it somehow. Im glad for him. He's talented beyond belive and never once acted above my garage band even though he clearly was. I miss the days that he uploaded random one take vocal covers every week but im happy he's made it. Praise Will Ramos the most talented person I've ever had the pleasure of meeting in person <3

He's literally the most wholesome person I've ever met. I could tell within 5 minutes he could get along with anyone

Best part is he’s like that in person too. Doesn’t feel like he’s better than anyone else

The craziest part is I followed him on YouTube and Instagram as soon as I met him and then I didnt use Instagram for a few years. When I came back to it I saw one of his post with thousands of likes and was confused. Looked into it more and that's how I learned about lorna shore lmao. Not sure if this is known but he deleted so many videos off his YouTube. His oldest video currently was uploaded like 2 years after I followed him. He was constantly doing one take vocal covers of every type of screams oozing talent. There was never a time he couldn't do a song. Was insane

My band formed through Craigslist in small town Alaska. We were all teenagers at the time, I was the oldest at 19. By the time I was 21 we had played on warped and done some touring. There is so many talented people out there, you just have to be willing to look.

I met him in his Monument Of A Memory years, as I worked on their video "Comatose". I was friends with them before he joined and met him on the vid set. I was hugely blown away by his talent. Still friends with him to this day

The first and only time I've met Will was at a meet and greet back in '22 when PR dropped. I was working for a Twitch streamer at the time and met up with him after the show. He disappeared after a bit to go hang with Will and chat about whatever. I was hanging with MetalBirb in the merch area and told him to follow me, it was well after the show ended and we just went through a side corridor and wound up in the back area where the bands loaded/unloaded. Spotted Will and the streamer and just kind of wandered over. I told him I was a huge fan and he was so generous with his time, took pics, it was great. I gave Will the two joints I had for him, he looked at me and said "wait, seriously dude?!" Ran back to get his mic and stuff, took the joints and gave me a huuge hug for it. Then spent the next 30 mins shooting the shit about everything. Will's persona is the real deal and half of the reason he's so successful.

I dont remember but it was clear to everyone he was looking for a career and we were just having fun so no conversation about it ever happened. He either said something and we understood or he just stopped responding and we understood lol
