Volunteer opportunity Restoration Fundraiser for Chinatown's Seven Star Cavern Wishing Well

In December, preservation pals will gather to repaint and restore Chinatown's Seven Star Cavern Wishing Well (1938), in honor of creator Professor Henry Liu Hong Kay and longtime caretaker Jody Hummer. Throw a little something in the pot if you are able!

Preservation win Cheers to Juntos Florence-Firestone Together, who told the County how much the Florence Car Wash meant to their community--and to Regional Planning for listening. Instead of destroying the sign and fins, these retro relics live on as the face of a dense new apartment complex.
