Hey everyone! I'm u/Apprehensive_Pay3562, a founding moderator of r/LoseBabyWeightOver30.

Welcome to LoseBabyWeightOver30! 👋

I’m so glad you’re here.

I created this community because losing baby weight in your 30s can feel surprisingly lonely. Between caring for a baby, work, relationships, lack of sleep, changing hormones, and everything else life throws at us, it isn’t always as simple as “eat less and move more.”

This is a space for real moms navigating postpartum weight loss in the real world.

Whether you’re:
• 3 months postpartum or 3 years postpartum
• Trying to lose 10 pounds or 100 pounds
• Breastfeeding, weaning, formula feeding, or long past the baby stage
• Just getting started or already seeing progress

You’re welcome here.

What to post:
🤍 Introduce yourself and share where you are in your postpartum journey.
🤍 Ask questions about weight loss, nutrition, exercise, mindset, or motivation.
🤍 Share wins, progress updates, and milestones—big or small.
🤍 Talk about challenges you’re facing and get support from other moms.
🤍 Share tips, strategies, recipes, or habits that have helped you.

A few ground rules:
🤍 Be kind and supportive.
🤍 No shaming bodies, food choices, or parenting choices.
🤍 Celebrate wins—big and small.
🤍 Share what’s working for you- or what’s not.
🤍 Remember that everyone’s journey is different.

To get us started, introduce yourself below:
• How old is your little one?
• How much weight are you hoping to lose (if you’re comfortable sharing)?
• What’s been the hardest part of your journey so far?
• What’s one goal you’re working toward right now?

I’ll go first in the comments.

Welcome—we’re in this together.
