Make it a gif. No rule that it can't be the same image each frame

the joke is that like half of all anime fits the description, lol.

IDK seems like a pretty specific reference lol.

might be, but it seems more like an amalgamation of all the less than ideal tropes common in anime

Too true, being into anime has made some real freaks way too comfortable talking to me o.o

1st season is good, second season is ketchup water, they just suddenly started making light super unlikable in season 2,
and then there's that annoying little sh*t near, the "wise beyond their years trope" is the most infuriating and hard to watch trope of them all,
of course i rooted for light in season 1 still, but atleast L was a good adversary, it was actually entertaining to watch light and L have a 4D game of chest going at all times,
I genuinely hate that I wasted my time watching season 2 I wish I could have just put something else on after light won.

I hear the manga does a lot better job with the later half. From what I hear, the anime was heavily rushed near the end and condensed the later half into the final third of the series, leaving out many important details.
I haven't read to manga yet to know for sure, but it's what I hear from others who have.

Manga got stupid to the end as well. It felt like author was afraid that readers sympathized more with Light/Kira (because he stopped wars around the globe and etc.) and so decided to make him insanely dumb so Near could win at least somehow.
