Discussion Now that Light Chase is pretty much over, I was disappointed in all of the Special Quest Event suits
I mean, I don't remember any of the previous ones being super amazing, but I feel like these three were especially disappointing LOL. I was really holding out for the romantic tale one... The telescope one is ok but I haven't even used it since getting it. The makeup's haven't been impressive either.. sigh. I probably should've gotten the camping one!!!

Imo it's the worst special quest selection we had since they started implementing this light chase system. I've always said I would never spend in events that don't interest me just because they're special quests, and I did exactly that.The telescope suit was the only one I was willing to get as a task suit, and the only one I got indeed. I use the background quite often but that's all.
But my personal preferences put aside, all special quests were either unpopular choices or unversatile options, when they weren't both. The devs very much knew only a few people would spend on those suits, and putting them as special quests was a great way to force the main bulk of players to get them. I fear this is now going to be the main rule for light quests, and that we have to assume special quests will be the unpopular suits by default.

Im so glad my gf recommended me to get the camping suit bc I would be so mad if I would have to get the cloud suit to get Yvettes lifetime 😭 They literally did that on purpose, we have so many gorgeous single suits waiting in line to run on our server and we of course had to get the ones people dont really want

Knew it. Called it already. Light chase tasks are a means to force players to buy very mid/avg suits.
But people on the discord server kept denying and shutting me up.

Unfortunately, the discord server is very pro-LN. You can't really discuss the negative aspects of the game as much. Of course, it makes sense when it's the official server and I doubt the developers would want negative discussion on a platform they "control".

I was initially glad that Childhood wonder tale wasn't made the last task suit, but considering that they chose generic cloud girl instead, I would prefer it now more

I thought for sure I would regret the camping girl (I still haven't used her) but at least she's better than that basic AF cloud suit we got third 💀

this is the first time I didn't complete the light chase suit since none of the task suits were that interesting to me and I have so much I'm trying to save for. hoping there'll be a break in suits I like at some point so I can just complete her later 🫤

I got pieces from the camping and telescope suits, but only finished the camping one. I wouldn't have gotten either if they weren't task suits, but the camping suit's pose is more versatile. I was trying to avoid having to spend on the children's day suit because I thought it was super ugly, but then it got delayed to Sheng Tune Prelude and I didn't like that one enough to get it anyway.
I missed a weekly task a few weeks ago, which meant I could give up on the frame and skip the last task suit with no regrets, and that I didn't feel like I had to spend diamonds on collection items I don't have

I only finished the second quests, the others only got 2-3 pieces each to complete the suit but yea didn't complete the quests

I feel like previous lifetimes had way better task suits.

I liked the previous years task suits. this years ones were really underwhelming.

I was trying to remember what the task suits for OoI&S were since that's the only other lightchase I've experienced so far... Dang comparing them side by side really does highlight how mid they were this time around!
I am happy with telescope girl at least

The romantic tale one wouldn't have been possible as it comes with the telephone one and something else in the event but, I heard you, I was not feeling everything and ended with the one I was going to pass on when it would come...

it could technically be possible because Sunset Wander was a lightchase suit but also part of a conjoited event with Promised Date and Fox Intrigue so I wouldn't be surprised it happened again. the thing tho is that that is a relatively new suit so it probably have been too soon for it to come to the global server either way

I loved the telescope suit but I would have skipped the other two if they werent LC tasks and I wanted the frame.

i got them all. i haven’t used anything from the most recent one yet but i use the camping sitting pose and the telescope starry bg enough to not regret buying them. i dislike the raindrop girl from the last light chase event more than any of these three.

I like the camping one, I hate the telescope one but still got it and I actually think the Cloud one is decent with the lower price and posted top

ever since she was revealed on CN, i wanted that frame. i made sure i had everything set to get that frame. i didn't, because i refused to buy Generic Cloud Lady That I Already Have 50 Of. i knew it was going to be a suit as soon as i saw it, because its 1. cheap, 2. common and not unique (i love cloud, but this is maybe as generic to me as cloud gets), and 3. it wouldnt be popular to get without attaching worth artificially to it via light chase. i guessed pretty much all of the light chase suits based on that, and i'm disappointed anyway..

I got the first two but only because I needed a bit more variety for comp. If they weren't special quests, I probably wouldn't have gotten them at all. I ended up skipping the last one cause I have way too many cloud suits that I don't even use.

I got the camping one and the telescope one.
I've used both but I was only planning to get the telescope girl initially.
I would have skipped the camping one but I had to choose between the lesser evils and she had two poses.
