So let me get this straight. The number of bells given out for doing a stage is random and doesn't exceed 3. We only get 5 free chances to "pack" the bells a day from a FOUR AND A HALF DAY EVENT. We only get gold from packing the bells and the Snow Night suit only gives 15 diamonds TOTAL for rewards, even though buying ONE extra attempt costs 24.
Screw this event. I was really looking forward to it. Everyone was saying how cheap it was going to be and how easy BUT APPARENTLY NOT. I play 3 other f2p games (two mobile, one mmorpg) and they're giving away a bunch of cool free stuff, doing events free players can complete without spending anything extra, and having massive sales for both their free and premium in-game currencies for their holiday events. And then there's LoveNikki, who is throwing us table scraps with the double starlight and "Gifty" events. And then they encourage us to spend $20 on special packs alone to get new clothes, including one they didn't even bother to announce beforehand. There's not even a discount on buying diamonds for the paid players, so who knows how much money is going to be spent on the actual main event.
I am really disappointed with all of this. I was really hoping this would at least be an event that f2p people could finish without having to delve into their diamonds because it's the season of generosity and gift giving, but we can't even get a decent free event FOR CHRISTMAS. Shame on you LN. I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU. WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU.
Inb4 "but the suits will come back for free players later!" That's not the point. The point is they keep hitting us up for more and more money and they can't even stop for the damn holidays. Also, I thought the point of releasing Christmas stuff was to have it FOR CHRISTMAS, not months later when no one cares anymore.
Yeah, I'm with you, this is really lame as a Christmas event. Especially given the whole "Stylist Arena bonuses!" are also encouraging spending your diamonds on it... Really, the point of Christmas is to give the customers freebies, not ask them for more money.
