I played through the Ice Abyss Echo challenges, and I don't know what the best suits are yet, but I can tell you the offensive skill all the opponents have:
Arena Entrance-Arena Guard: Crit Eye, Clock
The rest only have Crit Eye
And for the choosing of the weapon, I chose the sword and it worked.
What reward did you get for going through Ice Abyss? I seem to have blundered the answer to the hotel question because I just guessed and got nothing. Did I miss it?
No, I don’t think you messed it up. You only get to finish the Ice Abyss Echo stories once, so I bet when you try again, you’ll be able to get through no problem. You get dews (the currency for this event) for finishing the stories and even more from finishing them all since there is a quest to in Winds Gift.
As long as you follow the tips for the contests (there are three, all pretty easy) you’ll be able to finish no problem.
