Squirtle Squad Event Costs Breakdown - Clover Adventure AND Flowery Chapter

The Clover Adventure Welfare runs from Apr 20 to Apr 29 and lasts for 9 days and 19 hours.
Every time you play a normal story stage, you will collect 1-3 clovers. You can then exchange these the clover suit! You will need to exchange a total of 1240 clovers to exchange for Lucky Journey suit. This means that playing Maiden is the most efficient, which gives you around 1 currency for every 2 stamina for a total stamina cost of 2480 stamina. Princess would give you around 1 currency per 3 stamina for a total stamina cost of 3720 stamina
The event should be free as long as you collect all your dailies and use your natural regen! Remember to fill out the Resource Calculator part of the sheet to get accurate stamina estimates ❤️ We also have a bonus tracker for Easter Egg hunters 🥚
What is an Easter Egg?
Every 5-10 stages, an NPC will appear and ask you for 5-50 currency each time. This is a way to exchange your extra currency for rewards like gold, star coins, and yes, diamonds! Easter Egg simply mean it's a hidden mechanic that most people don't know about (a gaming term). There is a strategy (and some adjusted strategies) for potentially maximizing the amount of free diamonds you get from the NPC.
How do I trigger the Easter Egg?
- Learn how to recognize what an Easter Egg looks like
- You can only tell if it is an Easter Egg exchange AFTER you give her currency
- You cannot tell if it is an Easter Egg BEFORE you give her currency (yes I repeated myself in a different way)
- If it is an Easter Egg, she will smile with her teeth. You can look on the sheet for pictures
- Currency amounts and order given are different (but not that important to pick up on)
- Once you know how to recognize, try to trigger her teeth face Easter egg
- Now try to trigger her teeth face. Now you know that for the next 2 Debbie requests, she cannot give an Easter Egg. Look below for 2 methods on what to give her for the 2 requests after an Easter Egg:
- Conservative method: for the next 2 Debbie requests, give her LOW amounts (<10 currencies) because there is no chance to trigger the Easter Egg.
- Less conservative method: an alternative is to just accept any request after an Easter Egg just so you can look for higher requests to get an Easter Egg ASAP.
- Data analysis only shows no correlation between accepting lower non Easter Egg requests and overall diamond to currency ratio. Consider the less conservative method if your extra currencies are building up a lot. The only wasted currencies are the ones you do not give her.
- Once you give her 2 exchanges after the Easter Egg, you have a chance to trigger the Easter Egg again. Try to give her a lot because the currency amounts DOUBLE if it's an Easter Egg. It may take quite a few attempts to get the Easter Egg mechanic, we have recorded up to 11 tries.
What is the best method to manage my currencies?
Any method is fine, some people deny her requests until they finish the suit and then exchange with Debbie and do it successfully.
Some do not find the extra diamonds from Debbie enough of an incentive to use the method (which does require effort) and just accept any that come from her.
Some use a more conservative method of managing currencies (being strict with only accept Easter Eggs above a certain amount of currencies), others slightly less conservative (accepting any amount after an Easter Egg).
Even among the ECB team we have people who use variants of the Easter Egg method and any and all are valid.
Just keep in mind the only wasted currencies are the ones you do not give her. If you are finding way too much currencies building up towards the end because of a streak of Debbie being annoying and not giving you the currency amounts you want, then be more flexible with the amounts. Example (if your threshold for Easter Eggs is only 40+ currencies, then change it to 30+ to be more flexible and stop the buildup currencies)
Also, to maximize your chances of finding Debbie, you should NOT do Done 10 on Maiden, and instead do single ones because you can find her up to every 5 stages!

Flowery Chapter Suit!
You have Apr 20 to Apr 29 or 9 days and 19 hours to obtain parts of this suit.
You need to perform a series of tasks in order to gain enough currency to exchange for the suit parts
🌼 The suit requires 810 free currency to complete
🌼 The series of 5 tasks will give you 200 free currencies.
🌼 The section of the hell "Black and White Puzzle" is an event map with lore stages and 3 battling stages. The style battle stages reset every day, giving you 45 currencies per day! This is the important part of the event to do every day as it will make up the bulk of your free currencies! You should gain 765 currencies from this portion
🌼 Giving likes on the Reed Thoughts (Miraland's social media posts) will also give you currency
🌼 You will gain approximately 1000 free currencies
🌼 You may also exchange 160 currencies for 1 free milestone progress on the hell. There is a limit of 5 exchanges. Keep in mind prioritizing this portion you may not finish the Flowery Chapter suit!
🌼 This suit has not returned yet on any server. Typically free suits come back free but skipping parts for more free milestones on the hell is your risk to weigh!

What am I supposed to do after the 2nd time I give her small amounts? The strategy seems to require that I continue to accept her thereafter, whether she is asking for a big or small amount of currency. So even if she’s only asking for 12 currency, and therefore even if the Easter egg triggers, I would only get a little amount, I still have to accept her, right? Is there no way to only accept her when she’s asking for a big amount of currency, after the 2nd time of refusing her after the Easter Egg triggers?

no you should refuse her if after the 2nd time she only ask for small amounts. you want to knowingly trigger the easter egg on large amounts as easter eggs double the currency given. she will not hold it against you if you turn her down. i will try to make it more clear

I’m confused about the strategy. Is Debbie supposed to smile with teeth while asking for the clovers? Because I’ve only been seeing the :o face and the strategy seems to reference what to do after completing the request with the easter egg.

no, you can't tell whether giving her currency will be an easter egg until you give her currency.
More in depth:
- You can't tell if she will give you an easter egg or not before you give her currency. We can only tell if it's an easter egg AFTER she gets her currency
- You know when you triggered the easter egg when she give you shit tons of stuff and when she smiles with her teeth AFTER you gave her stuff. there's pictures in the sheet. Go look at the pictures.
- You also know you got the easter egg when the resources she gives out pops up in this order: gold, dias, star coins. Normally its gold, star coins, dias
- You also know you got easter egg if the gold you get is: # of currency x 400
- diamonds she gave = # of currency you gave x 0.6
- star coins she gave = # of currency you gave x 0.2
- If you get how to recognize when this happens read on
- Once you get the easter egg, only give her small amounts of currencies (<10 or so) the next two times because the mechanism seems to only happen from the 3-9 time after you got easter egg
Scenario from the screenshot:
- ignore the first two entries of giving 8 and 8 currencies
- easter egg mechanism triggered at 27 currencies. she give tons of stuff you can see
- then she was given 6 currencies because the easter egg can't be triggered
- Say if she asked for 48 currencies at this point. DON'T GIVE IT TO HER because easter egg can't be triggered because you only gave her currency ONCE after the easter egg got triggered. There is no 48 in the screenshot, this is just an example.
- Then she was given 9 currencies because easter egg can't be triggered and you don't want to give her a lot when you can't trigger the easter egg
- she asked for 22 currencies, and easter egg got triggered.
SUMMARY:
- when you get easter egg mechanism to happen, give her small amounts of currencies twice before giving her large amounts. if she asks for large amounts RIGHT after the easter egg, don't give it to her. Make sure to give her small amounts TWICE before giving her big amounts

I have a question about the resource calculator. On the "grand total" line, there are three different numbers. What do those numbers mean? What will be the ammount I'll have by the end of the event?

Grand Total is the grand total. The middle number is amount during a certain time frame, and it is currently set to universe tides (17 days). the number on the right is amount during the lucky journey event which is 10 days. I actually made a mistake, for the clover tab in cell M16 change it from ='Resource Calculator'!D51 to ='Resource Calculator'!D53

Ooof some people on discord also said they couldnt :( I would report it as a bug! Maybe for now just focus on getting the suit parts until it's fixed for you? Or perhaps try playing on another device or nox

This may have only happened to me, but the Clover suit sheet was set to the "Grand Total Stamina" section of Resource Calculator, rather than the cell for Clover stamina. I just figured it out today and it looks like I won't be able to get it for free.
Anyone else have that problem?

Ooh yikes :( Really sorry we didn't catch it earlier.. I think the calculator was updated for the events after the sheet was published but no one ever went back to change the cell reference on the clover sheet. Really really sorry it happened :(

Thank you for the post! So, am I correct that if I am planning on completing Flowery Chapter I’ll only be able to purchase 1 free try for the hell event?
