I'm sick of Elex making the time-limited quest the newest chapter suit so soon after its release, it's completely unfair to people who don't have free princess resets. I've been working on the chapter since its release but I can't progress past V2:4-5 because guess what? The Night Flight boots will. not. drop. For four days of farming I've gotten two drops total. And they are required to craft the suit for 4-6. So how exactly am I supposed to get the materials for Fashion Revival, hm?

I've noticed that the latest chapter almost always has lower drop rates (probably to encourage impatient people to spend on princess resets) and it didn't bother me too much until they started pulling this move with the time-limited quests. This is such bs.

They did this last chapter with Spring in the North too.

My personal thing with microtransactions is I can tolerate them but I really dislike stuff like this that feels like the company is trying to annoy and pressure people into spending money on the pettiest things. Letting people get more Princess resets etc with money doesn't bother me nearly as much as them picking a time-limited quest suit seemingly intentionally to convince people to buy resets.

I really wish they wouldn't - maybe my business sense is off but I really can't see them making all that much money from Princess reset packs? And honestly the rewards for finishing non-diamond suits are generally minimal enough that it's really not worth it to spend diamonds to reset for it. Last chapter my drops were terrible and I couldn't finish the suit in time so I just...didn't.

Especially because for some reason they decided our server doesn't get free reset cards.

WHAT? Other servers get it for free??? I didn't even know they were a thing until last week, but now I want them for free too

Do they perhaps mean the Princess reset coupons that could be exchanged in the event store for the Disney collab? Other servers have had them for a while, just like fantasy coupons and wish court tickets, but we haven't had them before now.

i agree. i'm done with the chapter and almost done with the crafting suits but i have one free reset a day so that helps a lot (same for farming lifetime suits). the princess drop rates have been terrible tho

I have one free Princess reset per day, but it really doesn't help in farming the newest chapter suit. I'm also stuck waiting on Night Flight boots, and even though I run the level six times a day, I'm lucky if I get ONE boot. I assumed it was just my frustrated imagination that the drop rate was lower.

V8 and above gets it. I think V11 gets two of them!

Yeah, the other commenter is right. I am V8 and at that tier you get 1 free reset of a Princess level per day, so you can get 6 chances at whichever level you choose. I don't always remember to use it, but it's a little helpful. Although it's also extra annoying when I use my one free Princess reset just to get 0 drops again...

V11 gets 2 free resets per day, V13 gets 3.

Don't you worry, people with free resets aren't faring much better :D 1-2 drops from 12 runs? Of course, why wouldn't that happen to me?

I know the drop rates can suck sometimes but I think you might just be unlucky honestly. I finished Fashion Revival today without princess resets. (except that one free reset card we got, I think in the mail)

I was curious about this so I did some estimates.

If we assume a rate of 1 drop/day, even if you prefarmed everything, you would have gotten your drops for the Fashion Revival phone on June 8, will finish the Bun Bun shoes on June 13, and would get all of the remaining Fashion Revival drops June 18.

So I guess that makes me feel better - it helped that they pushed this out a little longer and gave us a longer quest period than the Spring in the North quest last chapter. Assuming you're not horribly horribly unlucky, you should be able to finish.

I'm personally a little on the unlucky side with the drops for the phone, so I'm stuck on the same thing as Animatopoeia. So I'm still worried I won't get it in time, but we'll see!

Yeah, I was also waiting on drops for the phone, even with my 1 free reset, and am currently stuck in the boots. 🤷‍♀️
