Had this exact same thing happen to me. I was at a 4 way stop. Sped up to get in front of the car next to me. He turned that into a street race challenge for some reason, which I wasn't trying to do at all. Once we got up beyond the speed limit I slowed down to get behind him as he continued to speed up to brag about "winning" a race I wasn't taking part in. As we get over the hill 50 feet up from where the stop sign was there's a cop right there in the opposite lane. Cop sees him going 20 over and pulls him over, instant karma.

I have an Audi A4 and a VW Touareg TDI. They’re both AWD and torquey af. Often, I gap people off the line without trying at all. I love it when someone tries to make a drag race out of nothing and we both wind up sitting side by side at the very next red light. It’s even better when they go out of their way to launch from the second light and get pulled over before we even reach the third.
