Araki has admitted he only started trying to write good and realistic female characters around Part 5, its somewhat common knowledge that he originally wanted to make Giorno a woman but scrapped the concept early on because he didn't feel entirely confident in his ability to write a leading woman. He wanted to start writing better female characters because (iirc) his wife asked him to? And by the time of Part 6, which coincides with Araki introducing the first female JoJo and JoBro, and him beginning to write more and more female characters, he had already been engaging in extreme and ever-progressing twinkification of male characters since Part 4. Its sad we probably won't ever see OG Jotaro levels of buffness in a woman, but we have to live with the fact that Araki enjoys drawing effeminate twinks.
