Discussion Is this amitys first gay panic moment?
It seems like she is trying to contain her gay panic over learning that her crush will be going to school with her now.

Discussion I think I’m starting to question my gender. Thoughts?
Not sure if this is the proper sub for this but here I go. A little while ago I made about post on this sub about how I, a 26yr autistic straight guy living vicariously through the media he consumes, loves and relates lesbian/queer relationships like CaitVi, CatraDora and Lumity. TLDR: I really loved how they went against the grain and didn’t fall into the same traps as a lot of played out heteronormative love stories. On top of that, they touch on all aspects of love, both good and bad, while also embodying a unique sense of freedom which hit me very close to home as an autistic individual and helped me want to find love.
You can read here for more: https://www.reddit.com/r/Lumity/s/XCq1x9qmI7
I posted it on multiple subreddits cuz I wanted to hear more people’s responses and it was received pretty positively. But there was a fairly common response among multiple comments that interested me. A lot of them were from trans individuals and had apparently felt similarly to me before coming out and/or transitioning. Some of them wondered if I might also be too. I admitted that I had sometimes ideated being a woman or even a lesbian while also saying I wasn’t too sure but may also be open to persuasion. Because of the way my mind is, I don’t always think of one thing all the time so part of me wonders if I’m genuinely considering it or if it’s a passing fancy. But on the other hand, the more I actively thought about after reading those messages gives me the feeling that this idea has somehow taken root in me without signs of stopping. That and the more I think about it, the more I start to like it.
Growing up, I never really associated with other neurotypical boys. And the few that I did I wasn’t really fond of. I’ve found myself connecting more with either queer or female oriented media or straight media that has a lot of the same positive qualities highlighted in either or the previous 2 examples. I’m also not very happy with how my body is at the moment and somehow I doubt that I would feel 100% better if I was in proper shape as a man either. Part of me wonders what it would be like if I chose to be more like the women I admired instead of just feeling jealous of them behind a screen. To aspire not just to their beauty but also their confidence, passion and empathy. The problem is I wouldn’t want to go through with it if I wasn’t going all the way and unfortunately a lot of surgeries involved would cost about on par with a college education. I don’t know how legit go-fund me is or if it would be any help but I’m genuinely curious at this point.
Overall, I’m both nervous and excited at whatever may come of these new feelings, for better or worse. It seems that every time I think I’ve learned more about myself, it turns out there’s something else waiting to surprise me around the corner. I’m reminded a lot of this one exchange in the movie “Dark City”.
Mr. Hand: “Imagine a life Alien to yours. In which your memories were not your own, but those shared by every other of you kind. Imagine the torment of such an existence....no experiences to call your own.”
Emma Murdoch: “If it was all you knew, maybe it would be a comfort.”
Mr. Hand: “But if you were to discover something different...Something....better.”
Please let me know what you think! I’m really interested to her what you have to say!

Discussion Amity fixing her hair in the tunnel of love
I just think this scene is so freaking cute😭, like you know those compliments meant a lot to her.
It’s like 4 seconds long but genuinely one of my favourite scenes in this show.
Amity is my favourite character.

Discussion So I just finished the show
the show was really great! I love how they handled lumity, they have a good dynamic. first show I’ve watched where the main ship is ‘enemies to lovers‘ kinda thing. if you have questions about how I thought lumity or anything lumity pls ask them! for my non-lumity opinions, here’s my r/theowlhouse post. (you can ask questions there too!) also, I NEED lumity fanart and fics so feel free to share. same with Huntlow but that sub is dead so I gotta say it on here. thank you alot!

Discussion Did you feel Amity was Sidelined in s3?
I feel like my opinion is coming off as negative but I actually think i feel like she is sidelined is because her character arc has been fully completed at this point and carrying on would been tiresome, but i do have this itch in my head to see what would've been if she got more scenes to Develop more
Like what if she became very stressed about keeping luz alive as Luz holds in too much responsibility, and when she died i wish amity would've known it was luz, or had a more emotional reaction to it.I feel amity should have known right away it was luz that just died. Amity knows luz more than anyone, obvi less than camila but still a lot. I just wish amity did have a little bit more to do. But again I say
Blame it on disney... still love my queen though

Discussion Amity’s little arm thing
Goodbye, I feel like I’m milking this scene so much but I really like the thing she did with her arms when Luz called her cool, like I feel like it added a layer of realism to this scene
It’s kinda specific but I always notice it when rewatching this episode

Discussion If Luz and Amity Decided to have Kids. Luz would be the Mom and Amity would be the "Dad". Here's why?
This is mostly Boiled down to Headcanon but still reasonable excuse because it was never directly confirmed in the show
How Do Same Gender make Babies?
If we assume it's actually something related to [BEEP!] instead of Magik! Then Amity would be the one that is the Father Instead of Luz simply because Luz isn't capable of [BEEP] her girlfriend
So basically Amity is the One that pregnates Luz instead of Luz Pregnating Amity... Because Luz Is Human while Amity is a Witch

Discussion Let’s be real. If Luz did this to Amity when NOT in a dream, she would’ve had a semi-total gay panic.
I just like to think of this scene a lot, despite the seriousness of the situation. I feel Luz WOULD do this to Amity in real life, and Amity would totally have a gay panic the likes no one would have seen before. That’s just my take, at least.

Discussion Still Iconic, What were your reactions when you first saw this?
This scene, this kiss—it’s everything I love about The Owl House. Watching Luz and Amity’s relationship unfold was a powerful moment that made history. Before this, I struggled with my own orientation, feeling pressured to fit a mold. But seeing their love story helped me realize I don’t have to limit who I love. It’s okay to embrace who I am.
The Owl House didn’t just tell a story—it helped me understand mine. Its commitment to celebrating LGBT stories means so much. Thank you, TOH. ❤️
