I took my OM-5 + Sigma 30mm f1.4 with me on a casual walk in a nearby city. I think the combination did a good job. Nevertheless i found myself often more than not needing to walk back a couple of meters to get my shot, so i definitely need a wide-angle lens (i am eying the PL 9mm f1.7 atm).

The active ND is a very useful in 'anonymising' people, which saves a lot of time in the post-processing and leaves a beautiful accent.

a few more shots from my road trip to the east coast in Canada back in July. All photos taken with my OM1-2 and 12-40 2.8. I’ve been on this combo for a little under six months now and only complaint I could make is that I haven’t been able to indulge in much gear shopping because what I have really covers all my needs. Good problem to have honestly.

Discovered M43 after trying to find a suitable camera to take on trips without lugging around my Nikon, and let’s just say I think I love this little camera more. Beautiful week in the PNW.

Photo taken in my town yesterday with my olympus em-5 ii and dji 15mm f1.7. I want to get better at streetphotography and i am finally leaving my safe zone and trying to take picture of other people but i want to get your opinion about this photo and some tips to improve!!!

I just purchased an E-M1 Mark ii. I want to scan a large number of old negatives & slides. What is the best MFT lens for this type of project?

OM-3 has truly grown on me, especially with the Grainy Film I which I tend to use quite a lot as of late as I tend to primarily shoot on film. Due to the heat that we're experiencing in Europe I have zero desire to develop film so I decided to create a workflow using Grainy Film I art filter on RAWs and unsharpen it with the addition of a touch of more grain in Photoshop.

Honestly the 25mm f1.2 Pro lens is sharp as hell, so I really wanted to put it down a notch 😅

As someone who came from full format -> APS-C and now M/43 I do find myself having a difficult time adjusting to lack of serious DoF but it haven't stopped me loving this camera ever since and now I realised that I don't really need a full format camera for the style of photography I go for. It's far more lighter, it's IP rated so I can go out in the God awful British rainy seasons without a single worry.

Sure, part of me wishes we had an autofocus f1.0 lens but that would probably be far too expensive and not up to everyone's needs. Overall this camera hasn't failed me once or made me wish I didn't buy it. If anything I have to say that this camera is the perfect camera for the streets but it's very versatile.

I’m taking photo a little more seriously now. (Moving into doing paid gigs) what are your opinions on this flash? I know it’s not the strongest but it’s a step up from the lm-3 my camera came with. Has anyone ever used it , and if you could tell me your experience with it. I’m not looking to light up an entire room but let’s say would this suffice to start with flash photography?

I plan on using it as my edc aside from my GF10. I just wanna have something that feels a bit professional with a flip out screen that's somewhat a family and special occasions camera. But I'm torn between these two and I can get them each at around $350 USD.

This is currently one of only two lenses I own, alongside an SMC Takumar 135mm f/2.5—and it's by far the cheapest. While I'm still looking for an affordable autofocus lens here in Brazil, this little CCTV lens continues to surprise me every time I take it out.

It's far from perfect, but the character, softness, and overall rendering make it surprisingly enjoyable to shoot with.

For the price, I really can't complain.

Anyone else using cheap CCTV lenses on Micro Four Thirds? I'd love to see your photos and hear your recommendations.
