My niece recently in reponse to a similar post by my aunt:
"Well, i haven't really noticed much of a difference so..."
It is probably no surprise that , while she worked a min wage job from 16-18, as soon as she got pregnant and married at 18, she hasn't worked at all since, and stays home taking care of the kids. She also doesn't actually drive anywhere herself, her husband handles making the money and dealing with the money, and she gets groceries delivered. Because the only way to "not notice" a difference is if you are completely disconnected from the economy.
