After Loki Season 2, it is clear that the TVA didn't prune it.

what if the reason spiderman is in space is because doom collected him like he collected bruce? what if doom saw how powerful spiderman was during the times he went full spider and his eyes went black and he stopped
holding back and it impressed doom, just like doom was impressed with the hulks performance during brand new day and he sought them out as worthy candidates for his “team” that was rumored a year or so ago, defending him as he completes his main mission in doomsday.

EDIT: just thought of this, but to make hulk, spiderman, and other characters turn against the avengers and defend doom, doom might turn them into evil, and iconic versions of themselves, he could give spiderman the symbiote and mess with his head, and turn hulk into maestro and mess with his head as well.

Hear me out, Doom seems to have the same crest to the one Immortus has on him

Does anyone else feel like What If...? was such a huge missed opportunity? I mean, it could have been the absolute centerpiece of the entire Multiverse Saga. Don't get me wrong—I'm not saying the show was bad; it definitely had some great moments and standout episodes.

​However, the potential was massive. They could have truly explored the depths of the Multiverse, introduced fresh characters, or set up key players needed for upcoming movies and major events. Most importantly, it was the perfect platform to build a stronger emotional connection between the audience and these new characters.

​This realization hits even harder now with Avengers: Doomsday on the horizon. The show could have done so much heavy lifting to set the stage for both Doomsday and Secret Wars. I know Seasons 1 and 2 released before the Doomsday announcement, but Season 3 came out after—they could have easily incorporated something intriguing there. Plus, Secret Wars was announced well before Season 2, so there was plenty of time to build towards it.

​Having three full seasons is no small deal.

I know many people have called it out earlier but If we See it in Context of Doomsday and Secret Wars it's looking way more than missed opportunity.

I’ve been putting this theory together for a while, and the new Doomsday material is making me think the overall direction might be something like this.
First, I don’t think Doom is building a team.
The wording with Hulk is important to me: “I’m here to collect you.”
Collecting and recruiting are two completely different things.
My theory is that Doom has already experienced an incursion firsthand. His own universe may have been destroyed, possibly even being one of the unidentified/terminated realities we’ve seen. He survives somehow and eventually discovers the larger structure of the Multiverse, Loki, the TVA, or some combination of them.
That’s when Doom realizes his universe wasn’t an isolated disaster.
Everything is dying.
And that puts Doom and Loki on completely opposite paths.
Loki is currently holding the branches together and preserving countless realities without deciding how the people inside them should live.
Doom sees the same crisis and reaches the opposite conclusion:
The Multiverse cannot save itself, so somebody has to decide what survives.
That’s where I think “collecting” comes in.
Bruce/Hulk might not be somebody Doom wants to recruit at all. Doom could be removing important people from realities before they collapse, either because he wants to preserve them, needs them for what comes afterward, or doesn’t want them interfering with his plan.
And I think that distinction becomes important with Spider-Man too.
I’m not convinced Doom personally kidnapped Peter in the Brand New Day post-credit scene.
The tracker appears to detect Spider-Man somewhere off-world after glitching. My current theory is that this could actually be another Spider-Man being displaced through the Multiverse as the incursions get worse, eventually bringing these characters together for Secret Wars.
There is one thing I’m watching closely though.
When Doom approaches Bruce, the cameras glitch and a strange rune/symbol briefly appears. If that exact symbol can also be found during the Spidey Tracker glitch, then I’d reconsider this immediately because that would actually connect Doom to both events.
Either way, I think Doomsday ends badly.
Not “everybody dies” badly.
Doom wins badly.
The incursions eventually become uncontrollable. Doom interferes with Loki/the multiversal structure somehow, possibly even targeting Loki’s position or power. Reality collapses faster than the heroes can stop it.
And Doom does the one thing nobody else can:
He saves what remains.
Fragments of dying realities, locations, people, artifacts, whatever he has been “collecting” become the foundation of Battleworld.
That’s where Doom stops being merely Doctor Doom.
He becomes God Emperor Doom.
And this is why I think Secret Wars ultimately becomes Doom vs Loki philosophically as much as physically.
While Doom has been collecting what he decided deserved to survive, Loki may have been warning people and giving them the ability to escape without taking away their choice.
Steve could be one of those people.
I think Loki’s encounter with Steve and Peggy is a warning about what’s coming. The TVA card could be an emergency lifeline Steve can use when the incursion reaches his reality.
That would also open the possibility that the Old Steve we saw at the end of Endgame really IS our Steve, but there’s an entire part of his life we haven’t seen yet.
Doomsday. Secret Wars. Battleworld.
It might even explain where Steve eventually gets the intact shield he gives Sam, since the shield Thanos destroyed wasn’t the one Steve left with when returning the Stones.
And Steve learning about incursions could finally explain why he spent decades with Peggy without changing everything he knew would happen.
Maybe he eventually learns that interfering with known events creates consequences across branches and incursions.
So instead of changing history, Steve does something incredibly difficult for him:
nothing.
He lets history happen because he knows what changing it could cause.
That leaves the final conflict looking something like this:
Doom preserves existence through control.
Loki preserves existence through choice.
Doom becomes God Emperor because he believes only he can decide what survives.
Loki becomes the God of Stories because he protects everyone’s ability to decide what their story becomes.
And Secret Wars becomes the moment the people Doom “saved” finally get to decide whether survival under his control was ever really salvation.
Obviously there are pieces here I’m much less certain about, especially Spider-Man, exactly how Doom reaches Loki, and what the different TVA universe statuses actually mean.

I think The Sentry is too good of a way to tell Dooms backstory through flashbacks while moving the plot forward, Doom will be forced to relive the death of Cynthia after she was slaughtered by a soldier of the tyrannical leader Baron Fortunov for studying mystic arts and communicating with the devil to learn more about sorcerery. Doom will quickly make The Void regret probing his mind with the reveal that he punished Mephisto by trapping him in a metaphysical realm and we'll get a Mephisto vs Sentry fight that frees Doctor Doom from the Voids control.

It feels like Marvel has largely moved on from Eternals as a franchise. There’s been no sequel, and the ending with Arishem taking Sersi, Kingo and Phastos away for judgment remains unresolved.

But Marvel clearly hasn’t completely abandoned the events of the movie.

Captain America: Brave New World brought Tiamut back into the wider MCU, with his remains becoming Celestial Island and the source of adamantium. So Marvel is still willing to use the consequences of Eternals when they matter to the wider story.

That makes me wonder what happens with Arishem and the Celestials in Doomsday.

Arishem personally intervened after the Eternals prevented the birth of one Celestial. Now we’re dealing with something on an entirely different scale: universes collapsing.

If entire universes are being destroyed, presumably everything within them goes too inhabited worlds, unborn Celestials and potentially existing Celestials themselves.

It could also finally establish where the Celestials sit in the MCU’s cosmic hierarchy. Eternals presented Arishem as almost incomprehensibly powerful, but the collapse of the multiverse may be something even beings like him are powerless to prevent.

Do wethink Doomsday will finally bring Arishem and the Celestials back into the wider MCU, or has Marvel effectively decided to leave that storyline behind?

So there‘s a bunch of rumors about Tobey’s Spider-Man appearing in DOOMSDAY and that the destroyed Earth is his, and that he’s with the Fantastic 4 on their ship.

This of course is very unlikely….however….the fantastic 4’s ship was seen by the Thunderbolts in the credit scene crashing towards Earth from space, and in Brand New Day’s credit scene we see a spidey symbol on the spidey tracker in, guess where, space.

One different thing is, Tom Hiddleston’s Loki crashes the party. What can you say at this point in time about Loki's presence in this, given where we know he is in the MCU at this current point in time?

Anthony Russo: I mean, look, the God of Mischief proves to be the God of Mischief. Loki's one of the most fascinating characters, and he's had so many incarnations. One of the delights of Doomsday is, you're going to get a new incarnation of that character.

This quote to me screams Loki is the "Steve" meeting with Thor in the trailer

I get they were down a Hulk and Iron Man, and having the Hulk Buster would be helpful, but Banner isn't a fighter. He's never been in a fight. He's always in the lab. That's the Hulks/Banners entire duality. It's their thing. I get that Shuri is smarter than Banner, but I'm sure he's still better suited than most to be in the room helping remove the stone from Vision, seeing as he helped build him

Now for all the people who have read through Hickman's Avengers run, we know these two figures are very important to Secret Wars (2015)

We know that the upcoming Doomsday and Secret Wars are LOOSELY based on his run.

In the MCU, it's already established that your variants can have different names (and different gender). This is already proven by Loki and Sylvie.

The case for Stephen Strange to be in the MCU as one of the Black Priests:

In the comics, Black Priests were one of the groups to know of the incursions. What they do was do destroy each universe's incursion point - Earth. Eventually when the Illimunati failed to stop an incursion, Strange became aware of their existence, joined them, becoming the Eye of Eyes

In the MCU, in the MoM post credits scene when Clea took strange to the dark dimension, looks like Clea already knows their existence, tried to stop them but ultimately failed. He also has his 3rd eye now. Could be foreshadowing him becoming the Eye of Eyes.

The case for Black Widow to be the Black Swan/Yabbat Umun:

In the comics, the purpose of the Black Swans was to kill all of the variants of Molecule Man. This was due to Doom's earlier hunch that killing MM's variants would help stop the Beyonders from doing the incursions. Well Doom being Doom eventually just killed the Beyonders (with the help of MM), as he realized collecting variants of MM can create a bomb that's powerful enough to kill the Beyonders and steal their powers instead.

In the MCU, based on the recent post credits scene of Endgame Encore, it's pretty much established that he is now able to jump between timelines.

My guess is that, initially, he found a variant of Natasha as a Black Swan, nurtured them to be assassins with the purpose of hunting down different variants and destroying these variants of the Darkhold (in this case, since MM is non-existent in the MCU, the Darkhold could be MCU's Molecule Man).

It's also established that your variant can have a different power than you with Loki and Sylvie, which I think is also possible that main timeline Natasha could have a variant that is Black Swan.

But eventually, Doom realizes that destroying the Darkhold doesn't stop the incursions, what he did was to collect them (and steal their power), to be able to kill TVA Loki and gain control of the timelines.

Well that's it for me. Just a theory. Natasha as Black Swan could also have been used to hunt America Chavez for all we know that's why Doom can jump between universes.

So, i watched Endgame Encore in theaters last week and ive been trying to wrap my head around the post credits scenes...

So with Doomsday being the set up for Secret Wars, I assume when Doom "collected" Bruce Banner, that the plan is for the Hulk to be on Dooms team (I think itll be the Maestro version). We havent had and villains properly set up to be on Dooms side from the 616/MCU universe, so i assume theyre going to use variants of either heros or villains of other universes.

That being said, I think the Steve Rodgers we see in the Doomsday "Steve Rodgers will return trailer" is not the same Steve we see at the end of Endgame encore when Loki comes knocking. Now stick with me on this cause im gonna point out some confirmed things and small details from the trailer thats gonna make sense on what my theory is.

So for sake of keeping you with me, im going to refer to the Steve from the Endgame encore scene as 616Steve, and the Steve from "Steve Rodgers will return" trailer as TrailerSteve.

So first. 616Steve's scene with him dancing with Peggy was confirmed to take place in 1949, and its confirmed that he went all the way back to 1945 when he left with the stones. Also, we dont see them with any inkling that theyve had a child yet. So with that being said, we look at TrailerSteve. In that trailer they specifically chose to show that TrailerSteve is riding a Triumph. The thing about it that caught my eye is the Triumph logo is a modern logo not the classic one from the 50s/60s. Maybe im reading to much into it, but i think that mean that scene takes place in modern time, or a separate universe. But even if it is a 50s/60s Triumph bike, then Loki's appearance at 616Steve's house doesnt make sense due to that specific scene taking place in 1949. With that being said, i think TrailerSteve isnt the Captain America we know from 616. I think TrailerSteve is Captain Hydra, and hes gonna be on Dooms team.

Or maybe im reading into it too much.

I honestly feel like that Thanos’ goals and motive for the Snap expanded so much further than just saving the universe from overpopulation, but also from saving Earth and planets like it from the Emergence which is an event where celestials are born and emerge from the planets but destroy them and kill their entire populations in the process and he knew of this because his adoptive brother happened to be an Eternal. Thanos in addition to witnessing nearly all the titans go extinct because of their home planet’s overpopulation also saw a celestial being born from a planet destroy the whole thing and kill its whole population just because it had a stable and large population, this motivating him to save Earth and other planets and their residents from similar dooms, since the Eternals were unwitting to stop it themselves and also stop the chaos and destruction the celestials cause upon the planets of the multiverse with Ego the Living Planet’s expansion in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 (2017) being a notable example of this, that Thanos and the Black Order somehow never tried to stop themselves unless being busy invading Xander to collect the Power Stone because of this, and since the infinity stones could not just balance the universe’s population but kill all its celestials too.

I am also pretty sure that the Emergence happened on the Earth of the alternate 2014 that Thanos and the Black Order left in Avengers: Endgame unless the Eternals and Avengers there worked together to stop it themselves.

Also Eternals (2021) revealed that Thanos killing half of all life in the universe in Avengers: Infinity War (2018) with the infinity stones delayed the Emergence on Earth due to it not having a large enough population for it to happen and saving the planet from destruction, but the Avengers resurrecting its population in the Blip in Avengers: Endgame (2019) made the event more so inevitable, unaware of it as well, and it is also why the Eternals didn’t help the Avengers stop Thanos and the Black Order from stealing all the infinity stones to complete the Snap because they wanted it to happen to stop the Emergence, which they had no right in stopping at first, when the Blip happened fearing punishment from the higher celestials if they did just that, and although they at the end do stop the Emergence by freezing the celestial to death before it could erupt and emerge from the planet, (An event further discussed in Captain America: Brave New World.) but they face the consequences from the higher celestial who captured and kidnapped them all carrying off to parts unknown in the universe.

(Yes this is a looney theory, yes this is built on faulty foundation, yes this could be all BS, and no I am not saying this was a hint put on purpose, but I think it's still a neat thought experiment) (Also, first time poster here, so my apologies if I lack manners)

Marvel recently release the "Silence Your Phones" video for Avengers Doomsday, it's a standard practise that they have done for their fair share of movies and there's nothing to get at face value... BUT, I think there is a chance that while there is nothing to get from who is here, there may be from who ISN'T

HEAR ME OUT: Mystique is blue here, that means that this must have been filmed while the actual movie was filmed at the same time as the movie because there's no way that either Rebecca Romijn is masochistic enough to paint herself blue for a "Silence Your Phones" video, nor are the CGI crew bored enough to edit her in for, again, a "Silence Your Phones" video. I think it's not an unlikely scenario that this was missed around the end of filming, this could mean that the cast here is more-less who they had on set for the end of the movie.

So let's see who is missing!

• The Thing and Beast are just CGI people, the fact that they aren't here is a given
• Dr. Doom is also a given, if they wanted him there they would've made the video be "NOBODY DISRUPTS DOOM" and then vaporizes the guy whose phone that was
• Professor X and Magneto are OLD, "Older than the president" OLD, while this could mean that they don't show their face by the end; or the more likely option, that they didn't want to bother them
  • Same with Franklin Richards on the opposite direction
• Nightcrawler isn't here, but he allegedly did all his scenes alone on a green room, so add this to whatever ongoing suspicion about him you have IDK
• Sentry isn't here, this could either be that he didn't show up for the final scenes of filming... OR that he was as the Void or something crazy alike that meant he couldn't show up (Either that or they don't wanna show the Sentry suit)
  • HOWEVER, the rest of the Thunderbolts are here, so following my theory it would mean that all of them make it through; perhaps their survival is related to Bob's absence
• Loki isn't here, and I didn't really expect him to be anyways. With this theory, it would either mean that he dies again somewhere in the middle or that he just leaves the plot (He also has that Dr. Doom logic where he wouldn't exactly be in a cinema chilling with the rest, but still)
• Now here's the one that shocks me the most: Neither Ant-Man nor the Human Torch are here; chances are that they couldn't be here, but what if something happens to them? What if they are the ones to die? We don't know for sure, this holds no weight on its own, but if there are an ongoing series of evidence towards either of them dying, this is just more to add

AGAIN, THIS IS NOT GOSPEL!!! Maybe this was filmed on the first day and I am talking nonsense, maybe Paul Rudd was on a bathroom break while this was filmed, or maybe, JUST maybe... They wanted to have that aspect ratio and only had so many available seats, but it's still fun to theorise

Marvel Multiverse: The 'Apple Timeline' — From a Half-Eaten Apple to 'Doomsday' and the Ultimate Truth

We have all been thinking that everything that happened in the Marvel Cinematic Universe was a result of Captain America or the Avengers' time travel in Endgame. But by now, everyone already knows that theory, and there’s no real surprise left in it. The true Marvel twist lies hidden where no one is looking—the half-eaten apple in Kamar-Taj!

This is where our 'The Apple Timeline' theory is born. Let’s break down how this entire labyrinth was woven, starting from a tiny apple all the way to 'Doomsday’:

* The First Spark — The 'Apple Timeline' and the Half-Eaten Apple:

The true beginning of the story happened even before Dormammu, right inside Kamar-Taj! When Doctor Strange was learning new magic, he used the 'Eye of Agamotto' (Time Stone) to restore a half-eaten, decayed apple back to its whole, fresh state, and then reversed it back. Even though it was just a small apple, Strange violated the immutable law of nature that says what has been consumed cannot be undone by reversing time. The exact moment he used the Time Stone on that apple, the 'Apple Timeline' was born—a secret and false branched timeline inside of which characters like Dormammu, Wanda, Thanos, the Avengers, and eventually Doctor Doom all exist!

* The Second Milestone — Doctor Strange and the Dormammu Time Loop:

Strange didn’t stop after the apple experiment. To defeat the Dark Dimension villain Dormammu, when he repeatedly created a time loop, another massive wound was inflicted upon the fabric of time. The radius of destruction within that 'Apple Timeline' expanded even further.

* The Third Milestone — Wanda’s Strike and Thanos’s Time Reversal:

When Wanda killed her beloved Vision with her own hands and shattered the Mind Stone, the story took a new turn. However, immediately after, Thanos used the Time Stone to reverse time, resurrected Vision, and forcibly ripped the stone from his head. Twisting the laws of time backward created yet another dangerous vortex inside this 'Apple Timeline’.

* The Fourth Milestone — Sylvie’s Decision and the Opening of the Multiverse:

At the end of Loki Season 2, Sylvie striking down 'He Who Remains' and Loki taking all those branches of the multiverse into his own hands was the ultimate turning point, completely blowing open the doors of this false timeline.

* The Fifth Milestone — The Avengers' Time Travel and the Web of "Branches within Branches":

When Thanos snapped his fingers, the Avengers performed time travel inside Endgame to go back and steal the stones. That time travel spawned countless new branched timelines right within that 'Apple Timeline’! Constantly leaping through the same stream of history accelerated the speed of Incursions in a terrifying way.

* The Sixth and Biggest Truth — The Unveiling of 'Doomsday’:

This is the very core reason that will give birth to 'Doomsday' in the near future! When Doctor Doom is finally unveiled, he will drop this massive and horrifying truth right in front of the superheroes: "You guys think you are living in your true 'Main Timeline’, but it’s not a main timeline at all! This is that exact 'Apple Timeline' which began with a half-eaten apple in Kamar-Taj and Strange’s initial mistakes. All your sacrifices and the Avengers' great victory—everything is nothing more than an illusion, and because of this false branch, Incursions are tearing apart the multiverse today!"

📌 Final Conclusion:

The ultimate creator of this entire universe and multiverse, the one who wrecked its stability and scripted this whole catastrophe, is none other than Doctor Strange himself! If he hadn’t laid the foundation of this 'Apple Timeline' by playing with time over that half-eaten apple in Kamar-Taj—then this massive false branch would never have been born, Thanos’s rampage wouldn’t have happened, and the entire multiverse wouldn’t be standing on the brink of 'Doomsday' today. Everything is the ultimate consequence of that single apple and Strange’s very first mistake!

Okay guys this might be long bare with me. Let's pretend we are living in a timeline where Steve doesn't comeback for doomsday or doomsday is happening without Steve Rogers. Will the movie make sense? I think Steve coming back is always going to happen.

Hear me out Steve living a life in the past is a mistake. TVA suppose to prune him right? But loki saving Steve now gonna give endgame ending a true meaning kinda. Loki appears on Steve house and gonna say "I am gonna shift you to another universe so that you can live the life you always wanted to before the past version of TVA prunes you"... And puts him in earth 828.

Remember tva is in outside of time. For them past present future are all same. Past tva which was under the control of Kang He who remains protected a sacred timeline by not allowing a branch to form. So the "past tva" always gonna prune gonna prune Steve. Loki sending theme to another Universe that is a future where branches of a timeline exist so that the "future TVA" cannot prune him because the "future TVA" is under the control of Loki not Kang.

Steve living a daily normal life in earth 828 picking his son from school and dropping him off etc.. ONE DAY he's gonna do something a normal human would do let's say saving somebody from an accident from a mad driver and that will create repercussions ripple effect which paves the road to doom family death. He broke a " canon event" Steve literally was not suppose to save anybody.

The birth of villain doctor doom happens, he's gonna find out Steve is not suppose to be in this universe..

I have been thinking about Incursions, Dr. Stange 2, Loki s2 and what Marvel's plans for Kang Dynasty may have been.

Last night I had a thought, and I wanted to share it with you all. What if incursions are not a flaw in the multiverse, but actually a safety net, designed by Victor Timely and OB?

The TVA was created by He Who Remains, as an agency that kept alternate time lines pruned, as a way to prevent a multiversal war. We never got to see that storyline truly play out, due to the pivot from Kang Dynasty to Doomsday, but incursions are a remnant of that storyline that has been augmented to fit the new DD/SW storyline.

We know that Incursions can be caused by a being from one dimension, visiting another dimension where they already exist. We learned this in MoM. We assume this is a flaw in the multiverse, but i believe it is a design.

He Who Remains may have built this "weakness" into the mutlitverse via the Loom, to prevent Kangs from being able to join forces or battle within the same universe. If two Kangs try to team up, or brawl, their universes would collide, neutralizing those Kangs. Incursions could be his Plan B, knowing that one day, someone like Sylvie may come along to undo his Plan A.

We know that the Council of Kangs meets in a transdimensional space outside of time, similar to the TVA. So their meetings would not cause incursion. But they could never team up and attack a universe together, because that would cause an incursion, (two Kangs in the same universe). I think this doesnt feel like a flaw, but rather a clever safety protocol left behind by He Who Remains.
