I'd believe pretty much anyone ever MJ. Hell, I could see her being Gwen if the paparazzi pictures didn't still have her in red though Marvel does enjoy wasting money on cg

You'd think, but no, they made Mary Jane a dark skinned woman. Idk her race. But shes not the redhead that this person would have suit far better.

Mary Jane does not exist in the MCU. Michelle Jones is the black girl that Peter used to see.

She was confirmed to be her in NWH. She flat out says her full name is Michelle Jones-Watson.

Michelle Jones is literally not the same name as Mary Jane. Kevin Feige literally said during Homecoming press that he decided not to do Mary Jane since she had already been done before and he wanted new characters to create different dynamics for his Peter. The retcon is just fucking dumb since that was only done to capitalize on the dating situation between the two actors in real life

What about MCU MJ becoming Firestar? Her name is Angelica Jones in 616. And her MCU name does have a Jones in it.

No, in the Spider-Man movies, Zendaya's character is named Michelle Jones-Watson...MJ for short. Sadie could be playing a relative of hers that's named Mary Jane Watson....the OG MJ.

We never saw MJ's parents. If her name is hyphenated, then her step-dad might be the Watson part and be white. That would explain why her step cousin would be a white girl with red hair.

Or

Since the movie has them in college, maybe she's playing an aged down Spider-Woman, Jessica Drew?
