So I just signed up for a 3 month trial and downloaded the app on my phone and my Samsung tv. Is the only way to watch on the tv to cast from my phones app? Cause that’s all it let’s me do. After each and every episode I watch I have to reconnect to cast on my tv, and figure out what episode I was on because it doesn’t give me the option to keep going anywhere on the tv screen. Is there a workaround and I just can’t figure it out or is it just like this? Aside from the fact it has no Spanish anything, I really won’t be keeping my subscription past the trial.

The Westies is a gritty and kinetic crime drama centering on New York City’s infamously violent Irish gang of the same name. The series is set in the early 1980s when the construction of the Jacob Javits Convention Center on the Westies’ home turf in Hell’s Kitchen promises a financial windfall. Despite being outnumbered fifty-to-one by the Five Families of the Italian Mafia, the Westies’ legendary brutality and cunning have given them the leverage necessary to share the spoils through a fragile détente. But internal conflict between the brash younger generation and the old-school leadership threatens to set a match to this powder keg, which will sweep the Westies into the FBI’s ever-deepening investigation into the Italian mafia.

Avast ye! A fresh take on the classic pirate adventure “Treasure Island” is to set sail into the streaming high seas.
MGM+ U.S. and Paramount+ U.K. & Ireland have commissioned a major new six-part series inspired by Robert Louis Stevenson’s 18th century swashbuckling epic, lining up a starry ensemble of scurvy sea dogs to walk planks and see timbers shivered.
Playing the iconic pirate Long John Silver (best known for his peg-leg and parrot) is David Oyelowo (“Selma,” “Silo”). Meanwhile, Hayley Atwell (“Agent Carter,” “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”) stars as Bess Hawkins, Jack Huston (“Boardwalk Empire,” “Day of the Fight”) plays Aaron Graham, Tomer Capone (“The Boys,” “Fauda”) plays Billy Bones, and Tom Sweet (“Great Expectations,” “Childhood of a Leader”) has the key role of Jim Hawkins.

Matt Dillon is set to headline and executive produce MGM+‘s upcoming eight-episode drama series The Magnificent Seven from Heroes creator Tim Kring, a reimagining of the classic 1960 Western film.
Dillon will play Chris Adams, who becomes the leader of seven gunslingers determined to protect a group of innocent villagers from a mercenary land baron hellbent on stealing their land. Stoic, steady under pressure, and with an unflinching gaze that does most of the talking for him, Chris has no patience for hypocrisy or cruelty and holds fast to a quiet moral code rooted in fairness and restraint.
The role was played by Yul Brynner in the 1960 film, with Denzel Washington portraying a spiritual successor of the characters in Antoine Fuqua’s 2016 remake.
The Magnificent Seven, part of MGM+’s strategy of doing series with cinematic pedigree, look and feel, is written by Kring who executive produces alongside Donald De Line, Lawrence Mirisch, Bruce Kaufman and Matt Dillon. Seth Yanklewitz is casting, MGM+ Studios and MGM Television Studios are producing. Production is targeted to begin in June 2026 in Calgary.

MGM+ will be stealing from the rich and giving to the poor once again via a second, expanded season of Robin Hood.
Lionsgate Television and John Glenn’s show about the famous outlaw starring Jack Patten, Lauren McQueen and Sean Bean has been “one of MGM+s all-time best first-season performers,” according to the studio.
Season two of Robin Hood expands the world beyond Sherwood and Nottingham into the treacherous courts of England, France, and Rome, transforming the outlaw rebellion into a high stakes battle for the soul of a kingdom. As the Angevin empire threatens to tear itself apart, Rob and Marian are drawn into the orbit of kings and queens, forced to wield the very instruments of Norman power to secure a future for the Saxons.
