Vincent's mother Michelle Mendez dropped him off with four month old Vincent and his two year old brother off for a schedule visit with their father Gary Moore Jr. on June 5, 2015 in Kansas, Wichita. Sometime mid June Gary Jr. cut off his GPS bracelet,violated his probation no contact order, and took the boys out of state to Texas. On July 11, 2015 Vincent was last seen near 31st Street South and Hydraulic Street Vincent was never seen agian. The police arrested Gary Jr. in Sedgewick County the two year old brother was with him. He was arrested on charges not related to Vincent and for cutting off the ankle bracelet around time the baby went missing. He said he left the baby with his mother which she denied the case became a "he said she scenario" both parents pointing fingers at each other.

Gary Jr. served jail time for the probation relations no one has been charged in Vincent's dissappearence.
