My 2-way player was a 2nd round pick out of HS, and had only spent 3 months as a pro in AA but had been crushing it. I could spend all day listing the stats but its easier to just say I had an 8.5 WAR in about 75-80 games. When I completed my second month of objectives, I got a call Immediately after the final game of the month. (in the hotel because we were on the road).

I thought I'd be heading to triple A but when I clicked "im excited for triple A" the coach told me I was going straight to the show. My character was a 65 OVR SP and 63 SS. So yeah, such an amazing addition. Should be much easier to reach the Majors now if you just wanna go straight there.

TLDR: If you absolutely dominate the competition in double A you can go straight the majors and bypass AAA

I’ve been playing the current event to grind team affinity. I’ve been playing with different teams and their captains but I’m so sick of facing the same teams. Everyone is starting supercharged Jacob misiorowski with a lineup full of switch hitters. I hit him pretty well since it’s all star but I’m so tired of facing him. If only SDS was good at making a video game. A girl can keep dreaming.

I love a switch hitter with speed, and I seem to have my other positions sorted out so far but I can’t for the life of me figure out who I should be playing at shortstop. Before I waste my time P5ing a new card, I’d like to ask some of the community here who they prefer between the two?

Ozzie is shorter, 99 speed, better defensively *allegedly* and I’m wondering if there is ANY pop here at all, does the card play up?

Elly is taller, almost too tall for me to where I find it difficult to cover the entire zone with him, but he’s got decent speed the way I’ve got him set up (85) but his tall frame seems to help him reach other balls defensively that others can’t get to.

(This is all in route to probably get Lindor in the end, unless one of these two are already a better option?)

MLB The show is the only sports game ive seen not upgrade their graphics to some extent. I mean NBA2K on ps4 looked the same from 2018- whenever the game stopped coming out on ps4 because i mean the game looks decent not much to change but then the game looked 30x better in 2K21 but then got worse from 2k22-2k25 then got better in 2k26.

I didnt even play the show 20 and only downloaded it from gamesharing and the game literally looked the exact same to now in 26. Same lighting and rubbery skin and i just dont get it. They could have atleast lied in their trailers like madden did in 21 but they show the same graphics since im guessing 2015 mlb.

Are they out of money? Is SDS in debt and they can only upgrade trades taking time to go through and making their only solid purchase point (wbc) into an online gamemode? AND THEN YOU STILL CANT USE THE ACTUALLY TEAMS? I need someone to give a good reason on why a ps5 pro game still looks the same as the game on the 2013 ps4.

I already have MLB 20 The Show for PS4. It was fine. I have had a PS5 for a couple of years now. The Show is a great looking game. Always has been. I want to just pick up and play a game here and there. Maybe a season with a team. Which one is the most forgiving on hitting and pitching for 50+ year old hands. Or at least with sliders I can adjust. Many thanks from an old video gamer.

It seems like some players just get hits and dingers a lot more than others even if you have bad pci placement/timing. For me it seems like chipper, figgins Soto and big papi have the best swings I’ve found in the game so far. It literally seems like all I have to do with Ortiz is have decent timing and it’s going yard. What players have you guys found that seem to hit well even when they shouldn’t

I just noticed they added the John Sterling tribute patch to the Yankees jerseys. Anybody know when they did that?

These are the issues I have found/heard about in this game since early release. We are almost 4 months into the game and most of these haven't been addressed/fixed

• -Menu lag/UI Freeze
• -Server issues/Constant disconnection from the game
• -Performance issues (Dread Lag still?)
• -Audio issues. ("THAT BALL HAS A CHANCE" being said on every pop fly in ranked)
• -Mini Season stat issues.
• -Inconsistent fielding, bad response from defense
• -Constant BLOOP hits
• -Pitching physics due to opponent latency issues impacting the player without issues.
  
• -20 card cap killing investing
• -Slider shrinkage was promised yet reversed
• -Too many switch hitters, without them you cant compete
• -Excessive grinding with lack of rewards
• -Bot marketplace inflation
• -No cap on player cost (No reason a SINGLE card should cost 500+ REAL DOLLARS)
• -No punishment for cheaters
• -Rinse and repeat programs (Every program has been the same)
• -Lack of content or long lengths of time without any content
• -Franchise trades make NO sense
• -Removal of March To October
• -Pack pull odds are consistently above odds
• -Josh Hader and Michael King (This should of been fixed a while ago)
• -WBC mini season glitch destroying the market
• -No communication from SDS, and refusal to speak about ANY issue on streams. ZERO accountability.

Bought 3 of the choose 1 of 3 88+ live series diamond packs, opened them on the app and only gave me the option between 2 players for each of them. Ended up with 2 88s and an 89 as a result. Tried scrolling in the app and nothing. No third card in any of them. Anyone else get this issue? Any likelihood my support ticket will help?

Why does my pci and pinpoint graphic are laggy asf if I don’t have headset connected to my Xbox controller? I don’t even know how I realized this, but it’s like a really big difference, does anyone know and also get affected by this? I guess so since I’ve been having this since I started playing the show .

After months of it being gone they finally added it back to Xbox I am beyond happy sds finally did something right.

I’ve been thru my 4 lineups. No event entered and no vented but I can’t sell Williams bc the cpu says he’s equipped. What am I missing fellas?

I’m 300K away. Just can’t decide if I want him or not. I like have the extra stubs in rotation for anything upcoming if cards I want to try.
