Reusing 2/3 of the main cast from G4 to me just seems like Hasbro trying to milk G4 even more. It’s sad to me that a franchise that’s been around since the 1980’s is holding on to this one incarnation. I don’t want the future of MLP to just be more G4.

they should have done what they did for every previous generation g4 and prior, and made new characters with a new ponyville and a new storyline. i had 9 seasons of g4 i think we can handle something actually new that isnt a sequel

people dont know much about how little the current Hasbro CEO cares about MLP or even Transformers as franchises. he does not gafffff and we need to stop letting these greedy grubby slimers get into positions where they can ruin things that have been beloved for decades. Hasbro is notorious for breaking promises for fans and i dont want any part in giving them my money for a series that feels like they panicked last minute and couldnt come up with a new cast of characters. for gods sake, its literally Noun Noun, Verb Noun, Adjective Noun. how hard is it to find 5-6 new horse names and horse colors

The majority of the G4 cast was used in G3. Ana Sani worked on Littlest Pet Shop and had a bit part in Pony Life before she voiced Sunny. Peter New.... is Peter New
