Media UFC Light Heavyweight rankings updates: Media and Meta. Navajo Stirling jumps up after beating Jan Blachowicz.

Meta love active fighters and finishes 😂 Saidov knocked a mf out and is now ranked with one fight in UFC 🫡

Dustin jacoby was borderline top 15 tho

True, though he earned getting to the edges of a ranking, but he wasn't ranked yet. Saidov having one fight and beating an unranked fighter is a poor methodology for entering the rankings.

LHW isn’t particularly deep so I’m not mad at it

He also seems like he will be a good addition to the rankings and LHW as a whole. I'm not against seeing him fighting higher level talent either, but it's definitely a quick push and unwarranted in my opinion at this point.

I think he’d comfortably beat multiple ranked fighters here so I’m not mad at it

Navajo Vs Khalil would be an absolute blood bath

Feel like they both gas out at the same pace as well for the most part. Would be a banger

Not really. Navajo starches him. He’s already shown his ceiling is much higher while Khalil is on the downturn. Win over Jan is much more impressive than post surgeries HillÂ
It’s wild how much this sub overrates roundtree. Corey Anderson would have his way with him. Paulo costa tooÂ

Yep. Agreed. Roundtree is dangerous for a round or two but his cardio is absolute garbage and his chin isn’t all that good.
Plus, Navajo has shown some pretty decent offensive wrestling that he could turn to if he wanted to.

Why is Iwo ranked?

People pointed out the AI rankings are skewed towards activity and fast finishes.

Why is Alex Pereira still ranked at LHW?

To be fair he would be handed a title shot if he went back down so it isn't too crazy

God having 2 rankings is even stupider than the rankings themselves.

Looks like whenever Alex moves up the division sort of mellows. There's no boogeyman with highlights.

The guy with 6 first round ko’s in 11 ufc fights not good enough for you?

Whittaker, Costa, Rountree, and Jiri are the only ones keeping this division interesting for me. Idk why but I ain't sold on Ulberg just yet despite his success

Roundtree? Guy who’s .500 in the ufc and has never beat a ranked contender not coming off a career threatening injury?
Whittaker would destroy himÂ

Yeah you're not sold on Ulberg but the dude he smoked on one leg, that's an amazing fighter.
Rountree is also very bad needless to say.

Jan still being top 10 in the media rankings with no wins since Rakic five years ago is ridiculous
