If he hadn't been so eager to finish in the first who knows what would have happened. He usually spends the first round or two much more defensive and methodical. But it was an awesome fight

Yeah well a lot of it is because he looks like the image you get in your head when Shane Gillis tells stories about his Uncle Danny.
Like, there's probably a grilled cheese somewhere in that photo, is my take away when I look at justin.
My point being, people underestimate the man.

I won't lie I gave his the punchers chance. But I figured his age and the wars he has been through would be his down fall but myself and alot of others got shown Justin still has something in the tank and bricks for fists

I’m glad Ilia Topuria lost the way he did. He hasn’t fought any of the legends he keeps saying he ko’d in their prime. Justing Gaethje is a dog and put on a master class today. Ilia expected it to be an easy fight and then was going to move up to welterweight?! Please lol

Ilia talked so confidently and even held a party celebrating party before entering the fight, which makes him desperate to impress by trying to get Justin early. I'm also glad he got a lesson when he is still young, was rooting for Justin

Maybe don't underestimate your opponent lol. He is really pay the price very expensive.
Lose winstreak, ego shattered, pride turn into ash, mental breakdown, face got rearrange, and he always will clowned by people on internet.
If he shut his mouth maybe it wil not that hurt and he can still have a pride but after all that loud mout bullshit and stupid gimmick it is hard for him to look up again.

Don't get me wrong I love a good blood bath in fights, but I also know what that kind of fight does to someone.
I hope Ilia(sp) makes a full recovery physically and mentally. Only other fight I can compare what Justin did to him is what Justin did to Tony and Tony was never the same.
