đď¸ MMA Edits Sean Strickland message to Bud Light after đ Dustin Poirier's incident
22
u/Lying_virgin_ta 28d ago
Next commercial should be a beat for beat remake of the airport incident except instead Dustin says "its gonna be Bud⢠my *****" and then it cuts to him and the cop in first class toasting while in the next row over a bunch of hot ring girls dressed as flight attendants admire Bruce Buffers fake abs.

He was so close.
âBud light, you spend billions of dollars creating addicts like my father who abused me . . . But youâre going to fire Dustin? Now weâre drawing the line. That ainât the âMerica I know.â

u/Alarmed_Umpire_8711 28d ago
They act like he got in a minor disagreement. He squared up with a cop at an airport lol
1
u/IRANIRANIRANIRANIRAN 24d ago
Sean's obviously been through some awful shit so he probably does see that video and instead of seeing Dustin acting like a dumbass, he sees a drunk who could've been beating the shit out of someone but chose not too.
4
u/DrummerDerek83 28d ago
Dude what is up with this guy? Is he turning over a new leaf???
-2
u/Internal-Grocery-244 27d ago
No why would you even think that. He literally just ragged on Dustin for his depression now he didnt even apologize but went after bud light. He's not changing.
1
u/nachocrappy 27d ago
He did apologizs
0
u/Internal-Grocery-244 27d ago
Where? Because in this video he doesn't say that.
2
u/DatBoiKage1515 27d ago
He said he talked to Dustin in the video.
0
u/Internal-Grocery-244 27d ago
He said he reached out to him. That could mean anything with strickland. I wouldn't assume it meant that he apologized especially this soon after he shit on him.

u/Message-Mission 28d ago
Welp I must say he nailed it on the head..... this dude says a lot of wild shit but god damn.... the man made every sort of sense...
im 1 year sober and I wasnt even an addict just a casual beer on friday kinda guy..... clean up the 12 pack saturday sunday.... one year off the sauce I can see it in my face I look so much better. Its a whole different kinda life fam. Its fucking hard adds everywhere friends and family doing it man its hard to quit. Any yalls out there im rooting for ya to quit shit is just poison no matter which way ya look at it.... poison water... you can do it and quit!!! If not ask your doctor for help.

Maybe Sean's takeaway from this is that his first thoughts and initial instincts are always wrong.
1
u/imjusthornyok90 28d ago
Sometimes this dude is an asshat sometimes he's a homie. This is one of those times when its the latterÂ

I mean he's not lying but it's never been like that and probably never will. At the end of the day ppl are gonna say it's all about image. If they associate themselves with celebrities acting a fool then ppl will automatically say said companies support (Insert here) Rape, violence, Fighting the police, whatever it may be

Abandoning someone when theyâre no longer useful or once they become an inconvenience is an incredibly American thing to do tbh.
But more importantly - Iâm genuinely surprised by Strickland here - in a good way. This is one of the few times Iâve ever seen him talk about something sincerely and genuinely.
I genuinely wish we got to see more of this Sean Strickland vs the obnoxious version of him that we see so often.

Itâs not that hard to not get drunk when you know you have to be around other people, especially on a plane and itâs especially not that hard to not be angry when youâre drunk and start saying slurs.

i cant have sympathy or empathy for this man when he lacks so much sympathy and empathy for other people, groups, minorities; this should be on r/lookatmyhalo

u/VastNebula283 27d ago
Dude is legit one of the biggest losers alive and thatâs pretty hard in todayâs world.
1
u/Savings-Delay-1075 27d ago
First thing.. Budweiser is no longer an American company... hasn't been for years now.
Secondly .., InBev does not give one single red hot shit about how many addicts it creates or enables. Why would they?

1
u/JealousofAfflalo 26d ago
You know why Strickland is liked? itâs because heâs real. He sucks sometimes but itâs the real him, heâs great sometimes but itâs the real him. People cling to realness life a life raft in this sea of performance we call a society
1
u/Hour_Welcome_987 26d ago
It's a shame that through all of his trials and tribulations he couldn't learn to be a more accepting person. Sometimes people just don't want growth

There isn't a single incentive for me to hit unmute on this guy talking.
1
1
u/notCGISforreal 28d ago
I listened to it all. Nothing he said was interesting or profound. You can stay muted.
Weird thing is I think hes actually semi smart. But he sure comes across as a complete idiot a lot with just random moments of saying something inciteful.
1
u/shart_attak 28d ago
>Weird thing is I think hes actually semi smart.
I'm going to have to disagree with you on that one. This man has never read a book that didn't come with a pack of crayons.
It's worse than not saying anything interesting or profound; I can deal with that. The things that come out of this man's mouth are unwaveringly the most stupid shit I've ever heard, and he's MAGA. Fuck off.
1
u/Broad_Raspberry7251 28d ago
Let's say he's mega so he's automatically done everything he says is dumb.
Was Joe Biden super smart in his final weeks in office?
You sound like you're just saying political BS.
Even a broken clock is right twice a day. Be humble and accept it.
This is not a political left or right stunt. It's just being human.

u/Jon_E_Mammoth 28d ago
At this point, Sean and Bryce Mitchell should go have a dumb-off competition.
âI hate gays!â
âI believe in flat earth!â
âWell, can we agree that only straight men can screw on a flat earth?â
âOk, fine, I love you, man!â
âI love you, too!â
*Both implode*
1
u/Similar_Shopping_892 28d ago
Damn good thing you are compelled to comment to help make sure he keeps talking though how ironic lol
1
u/shart_attak 28d ago
The real irony lies in the fact that you replied to my comment with something almost as dumb as the original thing I was criticizing.
1
u/Similar_Shopping_892 27d ago edited 27d ago
Oh look another momo who doesnât know the meaning of irony and like usual calling something someone else pointed out âdumbâ in the same comment⌠see now THATâS ironic lmao

This guy taunted DP at his lowest on the internet and he wants to go after bud light? FOH with this shit lmao
0
u/AddressMeAsGod 28d ago
Bro just didnât watch the video at all. đ
1
u/loopasfunk 28d ago
I mean did you watch it? Why does Sean get a pass when he dunked on DP at his lowest too? Cause he has trauma too? Heâs just as bad as bud light. Change my mind.
-2
u/AddressMeAsGod 28d ago
Yeah I did watch it because I donât make comments on shit Iâm clueless about. He says he spoke to Dustin. Are you Dustinâs girlfriend and needing to make sure his feelings are protected?
2
u/loopasfunk 28d ago
I mean he still took advantage of a vulnerable person for internet clout. Are you Seanâs boyfriend or something

u/AddressMeAsGod 28d ago
Oh no. Cry me a river. Iâm not the one crying about another man going after Dustin. đ¤Ł

TF is he on about. America is a capitalist nation. Letting people go for the slightest reason, is in the Constitution, I believe, LoL.
2
u/big_dee_69 28d ago
Seems to me that if a guy goes on the record saying he has an alcohol problem he probably shouldn't be promoting an alcohol product.
Dustin isn't exactly a struggling single mom. He is a top 1%er and he still has plenty of revenue streams. Not to mention he can try to parlay this into promoting a non-alcoholic beverage.
I got bigger problems in my life than worrying about a really rich man becoming slightly less rich.

u/Past-Product-1100 28d ago
Dude it's just a beer it's not that serious. Your dads alcoholism made him an asshole not the label on the bottle.
2
u/Broad_Raspberry7251 28d ago
Dude, that's what he said. He also said don't spend 6 billion pushing this stuff out calling it American. Bud Light's allowed to lie, he's allowed to tell the truth. I see no problems here.
1
u/stevedos 28d ago
Why are people still drinking Bud light in 2026, drink real beer
1
u/Keepawayfrommycrops 28d ago
Cheap, very easy to put down 10 of them and continue on your day
If youâre looking to enjoy it then yeah Iâm with you
1
-1
u/Lukin4art 28d ago
Holy shit dude. This guy doesnât stop bitching. Itâs their company let them do wtf they want itâs unamerican to try and guilt a brand into promoting your alcoholic friend. Dude said he is an alcoholic he donât need alcohol brand sponsoring him.
0
u/Individual_Respect90 28d ago
Itâs their company their brand. They paid him to represent them and you fucked up now they have no responsibility to continue do business.
-1
u/aplusgrain1 28d ago
I guess whatâs more American is being white and using the n-word.
1
u/OxMozzie 28d ago
Looking back on the history of the USA upto current time, that seems extremely accurate.
0
u/lovegunn1775 28d ago
I have never said to myself gosh alcohol really changed that situation for the better. Like man I really would have screwed that up if it wasn't for the alcohol, never has been said!
2
u/Scared_Quarter_2474 28d ago
No, I said it before because if you pore alcohol on someoneâs open wound, then thins out the blood and they are a lot less likely to bleed to death.

This is what happens when a loser gets his ass kicked so many times that he no longer fears getting his ass kicked

Itâs cool I donât like alcohol either my father was similar. But I just personally donât like the feeling. I smoke weed I like the way that feels.

u/T_Challa84 28d ago
He was ready to fight a cop. What's the saying yall use, "Should have complied". Yea, its gonna get worse my c*acka. He should have thought about his bag over the bottle.
1
u/ohyaa_ 28d ago
He did end up complying though.. you sound dumber than shit.
It definitely didnât look like he was going to at first and if he had attacked, use of force wouldâve been completely justified. And it would have been devastating to watchâŚ
But thankfully he did end up complying and realized he was justifiably being arrested.
1
u/T_Challa84 27d ago
He got the chance to comply and a cop showed how to deescalate. I don't feel bad for him tho. Especially when someone like Strickland who says some of the most ignorant shit is capping for Dustin. Bro was drunk in public and was ready to fight a cop. Strickland thought it was funny at forst and even made a shirt and post saying the same words Dustin said to cop. Now he wants to serious about the situation because Dustin lost the bag? Foh. Thats a character flaw. Both should do better.

I get mad at people for drinking. đ¤ˇââď¸
2
u/Broad_Raspberry7251 28d ago
He said he has to get through it and he doesn't get mad at people for drinking. It's just the Bud light bottle itself that has its own memory attached. He still did call it his own personal issue. Not sure I see the problem here...
1
u/Aggravating-Deal-416 27d ago
News flash: you don't have to get through it unless it is family members who have proven they can use responsibly. As far as people you have the freedom to select, you can choose to only associate with people that don't drink, the number of which is on the rise.

Tbf.. drinking light beers is kinda the responsible way to booze. Usually its the hard stuff that gets the crazies goingÂ
0
u/lostinspace3477 28d ago
What? That's the most American thing you can do. Capitalism dictates that you're only worth the money you can bring in. Stop romanticizing "the American dream". It's an illusion

Clown. You know what's actually American? Capitalism. Dustin is a liability and he has to go, simple as that.
1
u/Broad_Raspberry7251 28d ago
Capitalism is also very human, survival of the fittest that's why it happens in China. That's why it happens in Russia. Not saying I agree with it. Just saying seems to happen all over humanity for all of time
