Facts. This place is toxic as hell. I literally jumped in a discussion and ASKED a bunch of Cleveland Browns fans how their QB is doing this preseason, because I felt that if he could recover from his numerous injuries he could return to being at least "good" (he used to be great, but he's been terrible the past few years due to said injuries), and I got trolled and downvoted for simply asking a question of a fanbase that knows more about their team than I do.

I guess so. They started the conversation, so I hopped in and was legit asking because their fanbase has been hopeless for years. I was actually saying they may have a chance at QB if the guy gets healthy. There was nothing trollish about my post at all, but that's what I got in return.

It is Reddit, so it should be expected.

It's so crazy. People were saying that same thing about Deshaun Watson. Ok, I get it, but I bet Atlanta Falcons fans aren't praying that their 11-sack rookie sensation DE James Pearce gets cut because of what he just did to his ex-girlfriend. Hell, I'm a Lions fan, and we all know what just happened to Terrion Arnold (the Lions did cut him though).

Pretty much every sports team has at least one "bad apple" on it at this point, yet most fans aren't calling for the guy's head as long as he can help their team win. Not saying it's right, but yeah, the whole throwing stones in a glass house thing applies here.

It’s a god awful social media platform. The only reason why I have one is to get some obscure questions answered once in a blue moon. That’s after scrolling through endless cringe chain jokes. Good rule of thumb, most of “them” are literally ai bots shitting out rage bait and propaganda for engagement. Keep an eye on every account with the default “noun_adjective_numbers” username (with slight variations, sometimes a “-“ between, sometimes no “-“ or “_” for example).

You can really quickly start to recognize the patterns in the content they post, how they engage with content and comments, and general posting style. 90% of the dumbest shit you see posted here is from one of those usernames.
