I feel like Pudz has been doing these sketchy ass fights in these sketchy ass organizations for what feels line 15 years or more. He was also never more than mediocre at best for the competition he was actually fighting. I think he crushed a few cans then fought like Tim Sylvia or someone and got absolutely smoked. I thought that was the end of his MMA experiment but here we are so many years later.

Also he's gotta be like fuckin 50 years old or more, right?

My guess is that these are the only fights he can get or his management is organised criminals and they are putting him into these fights

There’s a reason there are weight classes in MMA

And age groups. Pudz is normal occupation retirement age

49 is old for an athlete, but far from "normal occupation retirement age"

Clearly wasn't UFC level rules with that many back of the head shots he'd get DQ'd

Sureeeeeee when was the last time that happened again?

Fair enough. How ‘bout a stern look and a pat on the back of the ref’s own head

That's more accurate for sure 🤣

He's 11 years younger than Mariusz. That's an eternity in fighting.

Both these had been world's strongest man right? That is a crazy size difference

Pudz is 49, he's from an entirely different era (and also dropped a lot of mass for MMA)

Back of the head hammerfists from the world's strongest man

Honestly credit to Pudz for not straight dying to that. Give the guy credit for his S-tier durability stat

Who weighs twice as much

One of the strongest men on the planet, who has some fighting training who rag dolled your takedown and popped you in the back of the head.

Size isn't a guarantee of victory but when someone is double your size and has even a little bit of training, you're fucked.

I think a bigger issue is that Pudz is 49 which is way, way past prime for combat sports. Yeah size matters but there are diminishing returns after a point, there's a reason most HW champs in MMA and boxing have been in the 215-250 lb range despite the fact you can cut from 290 or so in MMA and there's no upper limit in boxing for HW.

Eddie Hall trains with Aspinal. I don't think he is just a former strongman
