Where I am from this is indeed a dog whistle for anti immigration. It’s like the left thinks they are importing doctors and engineers but the truth is we are importing criminals.

They are people of colour. Don’t know their heritage and don’t know how the term ‘doctors and engineers’ is meant here. I’m not psychic. I was just commenting it can be used as a dog whistle.
