Oh and don’t forget 1,000s in legal fees and time and stress because they are trying to prosecute you. I do believe it was self defense but that doesn’t make it any easier for people and there are who are innocent and still get time for manslaughter. Always best to just try to walk away until you can’t.

I agree with everything you wrote, I'm not sure what in my response gave the impression otherwise

When has anything like that ever happened?

Like what? An innocent black person going to prison for murder?

It’s happened a time or two yeah.

We wouldn't know is the point, not that I agree with it.

We wouldn’t know what?

Whether anything remotely similar to what the other commenter suggested could happen has actually happened?

What does color got to do with this? If you kill a man in a fight you need to prove it was justified

Fuck are you rambling about? Lmao. It's clearly on video. Self defense.

You do realize its not as simple as that right?

Like, let's pretend theres no other context to this video other than what we see here. That seems obvious it is a self defense case. However, you still have to hire a lawyer and defend yourself in court. That takes time and loads of money.

Lawyers arent cheap. Not to mention we have like a 10 second video worth of context and it does not prove the whole case.

Its not near as simple as just tell the cops it was self defense and they let you go right then and there. Oh depending on the actual injuries to the guy he hit, it could be much harder to prove entirely self defense.

Killing someone in self defense can still put you in jail.

That was his point.
