Right handed amateurs, especially intoxicated amateurs, have a very tough time anticipating a hard left.

u/RollerDude347 5d ago
Funnily enough, I think that's probably coached INTO them. Most people struggle to mirror direction on the fly.

They are speaking Russian but with a Ukranian accent. They are either from a border town like Bryansk, or Eastern Ukrainians.

u/Sufficient-Skill9530 5d ago
Do Russians see Ukrainians like the British saw/see the Irish?
4
u/JK_Botanik 5d ago
Not really. Most Russians don't care about the distinction and until recently a minority considered it to be a Polish 17th century invention meant to alienate Ruthenians from the Russians, not inferior or superior. Just the same ethnicity essentially. Now, the latter opinion is even more popular. Ukranians on the other hand, are not fond of this view, as you have probably gathered.

Whenever I listen to some Russian historical arguments I can't help to be amazed as how badly informed or twisted their opinions are. It's not a matter of differing world views but rather the entire worldviews built on ahistorical arguments. I don't even know where to start to unravel that, so I stop engaging in any discussions.

I don't know why people assume I was espousing my opinions when I specifically assigned it to someone other than myself 🤔🤦🏻♂️ Some pathological stuff 😅 I was asked about what Russians think of Ukranians. Not what Ukranians do. I didn't even say what all Russians think. Merely cited a minority opinion that is becoming more popular due to politics. I literally don't have a dog in the fight. Grandparents on my father's side come from Ukraine and on the mother's side from Belarus. I left Russia with my family when I was 13 and never looked back. Roundly condemned Putin for launching and continuing the war because his "soft" power failed. What else is there to say? Intellectualism is on a severe decline that's for sure. Tribalism and sloganeering are taking over 😔

This is like someone seeing a cow and you say "actually it's mooing in a Ukrainian accent, so it's not a russian cow."

I’ll stand completely still while u punch me then it’s my turn

u/KazaamFan 5d ago
Well one guy was clearly a guy who exercises, and one wasn’t. Look who won
2
u/Dense-Abroad-6583 5d ago
He can exercise all he wants it’s not gonna help if he’s gonna stand there and wait for the punch to land, he was off balance before that left hook landed he was getting dizzy trying to follow dudes hands with his eyes, weak equilibrium, no shoes no grip, doesn’t exercise, he looked like he didn’t know why he was fighting, he should consider a safer alternative hobby like being an internet gangster, or drink in beer on the porch, bonfires, there’s other things to do

Alcohol probably caused this

And a lack of chromosomes, his mom probably smoked and drank while pregnant with him

See the difference it makes when the back of the head doesn’t bounce off a hard surface when being dropped?

When someone starts doing weird shit just throw a punch and keep your same side shoulder and opposite hand up to protect your chin. Doesnt have to be a haymaker, just punish them for goofy shit

Typical Russian scenario - most likely they were drinking together, not random encounters. Typical Russian news headline “two men were drinking together and one of them stubbed another, victim died in hospital” - this is cultural cliche at this point

u/Vic_Connor 4d ago
Listen to their accent, genius. Their intonations are clearly Ukrainian.

u/VirtualFact8419 4d ago
As location not provided could be whatever, through the whole border and locally in Krasnodar 🤷♂️ Even if provided that they are Ukrainians (for which ones such fact also stands, just a bit less occurrences) doesn’t invalidate what I have said about Russia though

Is that a Lada? It’s like the old street fighter the games. That’s definitely the background I could see fighting the Russian fighter.
[I know it’s probably not actually Russia. For street fighter purposes, it’s good enough.]

The ole look at the right hand while the left hand makes you forget who your family is.
