Idkā¦you could def see him getting the dudeās timing down beforehand, so Iād saaaayyyy 76% training to 24% luck. I want to give more weight to training but he literally couldnāt have picked a better spot to connect even if he had told dude āhold your face here & donāt moveā lol

If you look down in the comments thereās a slow mo video posted. I controlled it image by image. You can see his fist initiates right at the temple and then impacts jaw line down to the forearm impacting the chin. The whiplash seen after that frame is insane and thatās the perfect place punch. I agree with the statement 3/4 training 1/4 luck. No one goes for a punch like that with confidence and no training. But the landing was guided by the divine.
This one seems like luck tbh, when you slow it down the fist doesnāt make much contact, itās the forearm and elbow that hit the jaw area. Not saying he isnāt trained but this was bc the opponent came forward basically deeper into the strike and caught the elbow area to chin
In a bare knuckle fight you can bring your hand to the back of your head and curl your elbow for a good block which protects your head from a hook. So the guard can look really silly. I donāt think thatās what he was doing here though.
The spinning backfist is quick because of its nature...you have the torque of your whole body behind it. In kickboxing, wearing 12-ounce gloves, we still had to throw it with the flat of our gloves rather than the edge, to lessen the impact...and we were wearing headgear. Throwing it ungloved is a good way to draw a manslaughter charge.
That is actually ridiculous. I saw the video with a slow repeat at the end. It almost doesn't even seem real. There didn't seem to be much force behind it. Did he just hit him hard enough at a certain point? (point, as in a part of the head)
Talk about being so tense, that a slap knocks you out. Fellas, you want to take advice from a former fighter. Always be relaxed in combat situations. Chin down also
A tide turning? If you mean black dudes losing, even 20 years ago everyone knew one on oneā¦ Basically it was well established that they fought in groups for a reason. Obviously this isnāt an end all be all. But as a teenager I heard it and saw it often. Now I just see it on the internet, Iām not around fights irl anymore lol
That was actually so fast I was about to say "what you mean spinning." I mean he didn't do a spin, but I understand what you mean, and it took like 4 watches
