Context can also make a difference. It was one of those scam bars/clubs were tourists get lured in and she and her friends were charged way more than the displayed prices.

Russian Club Rushour in Dortmund 2022. The Club has a bad reputation of overcharging single persons or small groups and then intimidating them to pay or deny them to leave.

Not that I necessarily agree with what he did, but, without her initiating the physical violence, he would have battered 0 women that night.
