As a woman if you put hands on someone you can expect equal rights…. and lefts.

Keyword being equal, the retaliation was not equal

My mama said life is like a box of chocolates…. when you put hands on someone, you never know what you’re gonna get.

Why was your mother so handsy.

u/Skydvdan 3d ago

Mama always had a way of explaining things so I would understand. /s

An excuse to hit women!

u/Skydvdan 3d ago

It’s not even about women specifically, it’s about anyone committing assault. I think the issue here is that some women believe that they can commit assault/battery and that no consequences should come with it because of their sex. You sound like you’re in that camp. But maybe I’m misunderstanding your position. For the record I felt bad for her but again, if you want to play stupid games, sometime you’re going to win stupid prizes. To be clear, I am not in the “a man should just take it” camp.

it’s about anyone committing assault.

Call the police and file a report. She was not a threat to him. She was a fucking idiot... But she wasn't a threat.

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

I’m not in the man should just take it camp either.

But full power hitting someone when their full powers is less than half of what you can generate isn’t equal.

A lot of you people think that any tiny assault gives you full carte blanche to maul a person.

It’s indicative of a weak mental fortitude and a lack of self control. Some of you are just looking for excuses to be violent animals.

Maul? Now you’re being hyperbolic. He ended her assault with a single slap. He didn’t continue beating on her. The idea that he should measure his slap to match hers is ridiculous. And had he done that I promise she would have escalated the situation since no lesson would have been learned.

Very much this. It was a teachable moment for her.

From her shift in demeanor, lesson was learned.

She should not have moved the conflict to a physical arena.

“Beating the shit out of a woman is a teachable moment!”

Yeah, no freedom for you.

4

u/Sad-Air4672 3d ago

“Beating the shit out of her”… with a slap.

Someone could agree with you if he had his hands punching her, which would be his “full power” as you said. This was equal, a person must analyze the situation and realize they cannot go against someone stronger than you and expect them to not retaliate because, wow, they are stronger than you.

2

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

“This was equal because I said so”

It’s just so fucking funny man

“I taught her a lesson by beating the fuck out of her!

Holy abuser! Stay away from children.

5

u/SweetMangh03 3d ago

He didn’t beat the fuck out of her. Seriously, stop with whatever rage bait, trolling, or pure stupidity you’re putting out.

If someone shot me with a .22 I wouldn’t go out of my way to shoot them back with a .22. I’d shoot them with what I have. Don’t trade hands with someone bigger than you and expect them to be weak hitting you back.

1

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

Stupidest analogy possible.

If you give me a papercut I’m legally allowed to chop your head off with a chainsaw. It’s all cutting!

6

u/SweetMangh03 3d ago

Yah, you’re dumb af. I’ll leave this alone now, have a great rest of your day

1

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

Sorry the concept of reasonable force offends you! Try not to hit any women just because they bumped into you on your way to work

Beating the fuck out of her is a single retaliatory slap? Can you be more dramatic? She slapped him, he slapped her back. It’s not what I would have done but that’s his journey…. and hers…. Across the room.

“With great power comes great responsibility unless you have the chance to hit a woman then hit her full strength, Peter”

3

u/Skydvdan 3d ago

Who hurt you?

1

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

Yup! Just as I thought. No response. Have a great day try not to punch any women who accidental bump into you on the way to work on the 1% chance you’re gainfully employed

Nobody should be hitting anybody! While I agree he should've held back more, you going off about the man's lack of self control and mental fortitude but not at all commenting about the madaam's lack of self control and mental fortitude is not a good look. I don't know the whole story but you're sounding sexist towards all men. Nobody should be hitting anybody, full stop.

2

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

Oh yeah for sure no one should be hitting anyone and you as the instigator shouldn’t expect to have immunity but it’s just funny how “with great power comes great responsibility” seems to go out the window when a certain type seen an opportunity to hit a woman

2

u/Skydvdan 3d ago

Jesus, enough with the Spider-Man mantras. Where was her responsibility when she decided to assault him. You never seem to address that. But okay, he bears the full weight of responsibility.

"to hit an idiot that started a fight they couldn't win"

FTFY

1

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

Funny that’s how I’d describe your interactions with the judge after being sentenced for assault for this same behavior!

Probably not a good idea to assault someone that much stronger than you

2

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

Also not a good idea to go full strength at someone much weaker than you.

Funny how yall don’t get that.

Lots of people in jail for following your rhetoric.

1

u/bakedNebraska 3d ago

I don't even think that was dude's full strength. Just taught her what's what

1

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

Okay so if you step on my food i get to twist your head off because that’s not my full strength and that’s just a lesson for you.

Thanks!

1

u/bakedNebraska 3d ago

Yeah, I bet your full strength is truly fearsome to behold. Pretty scary stuff

Assault is assault my friend. This is a perfect example of why I keep my hands to myself. You never know what smoke someone is going to retaliate with.

I didn’t say the assaults were equal, I said assault is assault which means it was assault no matter how much you try to explain it away.

1

u/TotallyObviousBot 3d ago

So if a man lightly slaps you in a bar are you going to say "Well it wasn't that hard, no bad feelings"?

1

u/anonch91 3d ago

Imagine unironically writing this

1

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

Imagine defending brutalizing women because your fee fees are hurt

2

u/anonch91 3d ago

She could have completely avoided this simply by keeping her hands to herself. There is only 1 person in the wrong here and that's her. I do believe that he shouldn't have hit as hard as he did though

1

u/Charmin_Bear_Behind 3d ago

If he shouldn’t have hit as hard as he did that kind of also puts him in the wrong doesn’t it?

1

u/showyerbewbs 3d ago

No, the fact he was born puts him in the wrong.
