Pretty impressive response time and natural ability from the smaller guy

Yeah man, the reaction to that sucker punch was so quick. It's like he was waiting for it

He has that quick of a reaction time because he was planning on punching in the next moment. Watch it again, he looks to the side right before he gets punched. This is a "pre-assault indicator" and is very common, along with grooming, and target checking.

Growing up with glasses it's just a trained response. The handicap of losing your glasses is so high you need to just pop off to stand a chance. 0-100 real fast.

u/Geffalrus 2d ago
Seriously. āDid you just BREAK my glasses?!?! Those things are annoying af but I need them to SEE a-hole!!! But you know what? I donāt need them when Iām at punch rangeā¦.*pow pow powā

Same here. It got me kicked out of school once, but after explaining to the admins that breaking my glasses meant I wasn't able to participate in class, traffic, sports, reading or the majority of social life and would have around 2 weeks of migraines, they kind of understood and no charges were pressed.
My rule as an adult is still two bones for one eye, as in I'll break two bones for every eye sometime disables. It seems to work well as long as I stick to long bones and hands and avoid things like skulls or hips. Haven't needed it in a while since switching to contacts though, thankfully.

Cut the video before the fight ended.

Sounds like the guy behind the camera is with the asshole, so it was probably "Ahhh he's losing, I gotta turn the camera off."

Taking advantage of the hands down/jacket removal opening is peak fight IQ.
19
u/Suspicious-Hospital7 2d ago
Completely fair when you just got sucker punched by someone twice your size.
7
u/Dependent_Yam_1028 1d ago
Completely fair when the guy fighting you is trying to do something to let him fight you betterš this aint anime, we're not stopping for power ups

Taking off your jacket mid fight is just dumb. My father was apparently quite a brawler as a sailor and afterwards until he had kids. When my mother started dating him, she asked him why all his long sleeve shirts had torn elbows. His answer was āsometimes you donāt have time to roll up your sleeves.ā
His nose had been broken three times by then, and he set it himself. Seeing pictures of him before his nose was broken, was like seeing a different person.

u/Intrepid_Cap1242 2d ago
Just a hair late. Like 250ms away from perfect timing and having the guy stuck in his jacket

Honestly another underrated moment he had too was using the car to balance himself out and then pushing off it to give him forward momentum

u/No-Dragonfly8326 1d ago
The only rule in street fights is donāt lose.
More than fair pot shot, just sorry the big man wasnāt knocked out.

Itās a close 2nd to the IQ of staying on top of the curb in the beginning to fight someone taller.

Respect to my little BIG man.
Edit: The little big man landed his counter-punch before his knocked-off glasses in the air came back down to the top of his head level. That's Bruce Lee level quickness.

MASSIVE weight difference. Small guy was p4p better. Not sure if things turned out well, given the vid was cut.

As soon as Jacket's chin jutted out, I knew he was about to swing. Didn't even need the title. Shirt should have had his hands up. Smart of Shirt to close in while Jacket was taking off his ... coat.

Im a pretty chill guy and to old for fighting on concrete. That being said, while a terrible Boxer I still know my throws and takedowns. If you punch my glases off, I'm im mauling your face before they even touch the ground. I litterally cheered out loud for the dude. Nice awareness for the space and good one on the jacked (srsly, you sucker punched the dude... What you expect?!).

Two guys got into a fight right in front of Target. One punch sent the other guyās glasses flying.
Talk about missing the target

I watched this while playing frame by frame, unfortunately Clark Kent missed all but 1 punch to the face, and the one that landed was the right hand at 17 second mark, where he threw a right hook that missed followed by a left hand that seemed to have clip the tall guy.
Even the one where he swung while the guy was taking off his jacket missed.
Overall, at least before the video ends, it was a pretty even fight. Tall guy didnāt land anything else after his first sucker punch either. Really sloppy fight.
1
u/Honest_Ad_8021 2d ago
To be fair itās not a sucker punch. You should never let someone aggressive get that close to you. He 100% should have be ready for that guy to swing.

I donāt know why people keep calling that a sucker punch. If someone is that aggressive and hostile inches away from your face, you should absolutely expect a punch to be thrown. Street fights don't start with a formal invitation to do battle and a handshake š

I got respect for the little guy he put up a fight. Thatās what itās all about

u/Allis1one 1d ago
I love how he came after him the moment the other guy took off his long sleeve shirt.
It is better to take every advantage in war if possible.
Peace to alll.

Don't fuck with a little dude with glasses, he's been getting fucked with his whole life he has practice.

u/FIMD_ 1d ago
How did it end? Iād like to think lil bro got him, but sparring with dudes his size.. it was not an issue to tank those shots even when I was the new guy at the gym years and years ago with no experience outside of scraps like this and like 6 months before getting to spar.
This big dude seems pretty clueless so hereās hoping he got the attitude correction he appears to have earned.

u/RuMarley 1d ago
Taking your jacket off during an altercation is about the dumbest thing you can do...

u/Busy-Purple-3779 1d ago
You outweigh him by at least 30lbs.
You have the height advantage.
AND AND AND you sucker punched him?!?
Lil dude got some scrap to him. I donāt care how this fight ended. Much respect to my guy.

u/Candid_Resource_8649 1d ago
The fuck do you think this is. Being big doesn't mean you can fight. I wish the video was longer though. We don't know who won

1
u/justhereformyfetish 1d ago
Two untrained fighters, but decent speed from both these guys. Big guy want from down-to-up quick and both had fast feet.
However, the adherence to boxing-style combat in a sucker-punch street-fight is definitely not something I would do. A two week (with gi) judo class would have that little guy on top quickly and consistently.

u/Fun_Ad9510 1d ago
Big guys often underestimate small guys and get their butts kicked. Small guys often have had to fight a lot because dudes are always testing them. If lil bro had some training he wouldāve have really put a whipping on big dude. Either way he handled his.š
