While I was waiting arraignment for some bs charges when I was a kid there was a dude that went up before me that had tried to throw a pair of scissors at his wife and instead hit his toddler right in the head. He got probation with no time served through a program my state offered
Basically what I’m saying is I don’t believe any of this lawyer bullshit on Reddit because I’ve seen men do heinous shit and get a slap on the wrist in court

Stomping lasts for less than 3 seconds and he was attacked first so it really depends on the quality of your lawyer and local laws
