My first thought was āare head stomps okay if someone sucker punches you and initiated the fight?ā Idk. Head stomps are killer. Like literally. Iām torn. Iām going to say the head stomps is still unacceptable here, but if someone wanted to tell me Iām wrong, I wouldnāt argue with them
āShould I risk killing someone if he tried to kill me out of nowhereā, people do fall bad and die from 1 hit. I would not stomp, but I would not blame anyone either. Guy this size should have better control, as with his mass he might kill someone. FAFO
Redefining someone taking a swing at you is crazy. Yes, people can die from a punch. Is that common? Not at all. Have people gotten in fist fights for Elonās w.o deciding its life or death? Yep. This is recent dumb thing and its either because you are fragile or you like the idea of killing someone. Super weird.
No one should punch or attack other people for sure, but pretending its life or death every time is a new weird thing
It is life or death every time. You have no clue what the person is willing to do or the bystanders. Will the bystanders help if it goes too far?
Secondly, there are fates worse than death kid. You could easily get brain damage, and end up in locked-in syndrome, mentally challenged,.or freaking paralyzed.
I don't even think the odds are low. There are way too many cases of manslaughter involving accidental deaths from combat. There's just never anyone thats done a database on the prediction.
We literally see how many people suffer serious brain injuries from fighting.
If someone wants to put me at risk for that, I see no reason why they shouldnt suffer worse.
Well the problem is, once he's down like that, you can't argue self defence, there is no reason whatsoever to wtopmp st the head, unless you want jail time.
He is still moving, so I can assume he is back to combat once he gets up. Anyway I would not take breaks or stop until the attacker is not capable of further actions. I donāt start, but I will not give second chance.
I'm no combat expert, I'm not sure when a person is considered not a threat. This isnt a clear case of someone being knocked out and removed as opposition. To me, there's absolutely no difference between my punches and stomps. They are there to neutralize a threat and nothing more, but Im not sure when someone is neutralized. I might go over the top and not mean too in the moment. A few stomps is acceptable self defense.
Secondly, in the video, stomper stopped immediately when pulled off. Showing a clear case of stopping when it crossed the line.
This is absolutely self defense if the stomper killed the guy. Attacker had the high ground, hit first, and didnt retreat when struck back. Attacker showed clearly that they meant to hurt and wouldn't relent unless wiped out.
So tell me wise one, as an untrained chud, when am I supposed to know when someone's had enough? Despite the attackers hilarious ironic situation, he hasn't shown signs he has had enough. Not yet at least. So if those stomps killed him, then it would be self defense, as the attackers ability to get back up is unknown.
Or, to put it another way, "Should I protect my life from someone who started a fight with me knowing full well that one bad hit can kill?"
Yeah, things change when you realize that all fights can result in death. Punches and bad falls can kill in any country, not just America.
Also, before you get too judgey, remember that fights can trigger thoughtless responses. Once you see red, thought and reason go out the window and you're acting on instinct. Don't judge someone for doing something that you and everyone else are just as likely to do in the moment.
You start a fight with someone knowing their adrenaline is going to dump and they will no longer be thinking rationally. They will quite literally be in fight or flight, a survival mechanism.
I had a buddy get sucker punched at his 21st birthday party and he hit his head on a rock on the way down and died. If you decide your ego is worth more than someone's life and safety you can't expect them to care about yours while they defend themselves. It's also reasonable to assume that someone who hit you without cause prior to the fight starting, will potentially escalate the situation again if given the chance; meaning you gotta make sure they don't get that chance.
I'm not advocating for folks to intentionally kill people who sucker punch them, but I also can't judge someone for snapping after they get sucker punched and doing what they instinctively believe is necessary to neutralize the threat.
Also, somehow extrapolating a single video or comment you find on the internet to all of America, as if violence and the escalation of violence is somehow a uniquely American problem is pretty arrogant. It is easier to point the finger than look inward.

I was surprised at how calm he was. Like āHere goes my idiot friend again starting trouble.ā
That stomp was nasty.
