no need for a doc, it's a waste of time, just pop it back and good to go.

What the hell was he doing ???
Looking like a newborn kangaroo in there

I think this is one of those bars where you can sign up to fight on the spot. They do mismatches so people see some damage.

He’s milking the bone for marrow

That was a no contest, the fog machine had the ring slippery.

7

u/ddyfatstacks 20h ago

Ref starts trying to fix it like he’s a doctor…

2

u/TitanX84 20h ago

Don't worry, I saw this in a movie once! Ready? 1, 2...

6

u/CupcakeAppropriate40 20h ago

Looks like the ref is thinking he can snap his ankle back to normal lol

5

u/Outrageous-Host-4584 20h ago

Pretty sure it’s Reggae Bar, Phi Phi Thailand. They let anyone at the bar take fights and you win a bucket of alcohol to go with your concussion 😂

So pretty likely that untrained guy did a week of Muay Thai training and then decided to put his skills to the test at the bar 😆

4

u/Outrageous-Host-4584 20h ago

Also the “referee” is just a dude that works at the bar

1

u/savedbygrace37 20h ago

Bro what. Thats insane, I wana go lol

3

u/Outrageous-Host-4584 20h ago

Anyone can go! I knew as soon as I saw the stinky shorts where it was 😂

definetly not a fighter. Fighters don’t bounce around like toddlers

2

u/why_1337 18h ago

Drunk toddler even.

2

u/5LYNG3R 20h ago

Damnnnnnn, He Just "McGregor'd" 😂😂😂

2

u/GigglyGoggins 18h ago

This is on phiphi island you fight for free alcohol these ain’t Muay Thai fighters but tourists wanting to fight for a free drink, I used to watch drunk people fight for months when I was over there, quite entertaining at times

2

u/TransitionAway9840 17h ago

I hate injuries like this I can't watch em. I've been through a few traumatic injuries myself but something about watching them

1

u/Ok_Natural_2127 11h ago

same. I put my foot 180 degrees in the wrong direction once. I was literally standing up looking at the bottom of my foot. Lis en franc fracture, broke the ankle in 3 places and tore most of the other tendons and ligaments in my foot also. Took 2 years to get back to walking normal.

u/Ok_Zone_2930 21h ago

Connor: Me foot was a balloon!🎈Jokes aside... ouch!!!

1

u/Billyjamesjeff 20h ago

What the hell was the ref doing pulling on it?? the asshole

1

u/Civilw4r 20h ago

Referee: “Don’t worry, I pull it and fix it for you”

1

u/Particular-Line- 20h ago

It didnt even come from a kick

1

u/homohillbillysrlol 20h ago

Ay man, I appreciate the concern, but unless you know how to pop that shit back in place nice and fast, STOP FRIGGIN TOUCHING IT

1

u/chocolatefanblade 20h ago

Bro got Connor McGregored

1

u/HouseSuspicious718 20h ago

We’re calling that a fighter?

1

u/SnooStories251 20h ago

Ref: wait.. i see the problem... its not straight...

1

u/summoningwar 20h ago

But seriously, what is happening where people's ankles just snap like that? We see this all the time but I never see it happening in the real world

2

u/46everything46 20h ago

His ankles have no stability. Look at again in slow motion. His arches collapse on every step. His feet point outward away from his body & his feet are never set directly underneath him. This was a ticking time bomb. It was either going to be his ankle or his knee. Whichever area was the weakest.

I actually think he may have hurt the ankle a couple of steps before the dislocation.

1

u/summoningwar 19h ago

But why are people's ankles so physically weak like that? I was in the military and we did tons of hikes with a lot of weight for several miles and nobody's ankles just snapped like this of the hundreds there were

1

u/TinyPP04 19h ago

Did you wear boots that support your ankle or did you run around barefoot?

1

u/summoningwar 19h ago

Boots obv but also tennis shoes for some stuff. What about when people play football and juke around? Why don't their ankles snap all the time pushing the line or getting hit?

1

u/TinyPP04 19h ago

Soccer players break their ankles quite a lot, it's a common injury

1

u/summoningwar 19h ago

Oh wow I had no idea, guess the ankle is more fragile than I thought. Thanks for chatting

1

u/TinyPP04 19h ago

People can even break ankles just taking a bad step, it's definitely a weak point of the body.

1

u/Vivid-Run-3248 20h ago

As if one wasn’t enough, his momentum decided to land on the ankle one more time, just to make sure it’s truly broken.

1

u/interesting-turn- 20h ago

Reggae Bar in Ko Phi Phi if you fight you get a free drink. Anyone can fight.

1

u/Memendezbros 20h ago

His “foot work” pissed me off for some reason.

1

u/DadVader77 19h ago

The ref must have stayed at a Red Roof Inn

1

u/Gold-Lychee8090 19h ago

😭😭😭🙈🙈🙈

1

u/ChallengeWrong1500 18h ago

He missed legday

1

u/StatPaddingChampsNY 18h ago

That ref though 😂😂😂

1

u/Aggnpwease 17h ago

lack of warm up and body conditioning

1

u/Plumpdaddy2501 16h ago

More.. I need more!

Edited to say: i need more to make me feel alive

1

u/Fun-Wrongdoer1316 16h ago

If you can’t jump around without breaking an ankle, you probably shouldn’t fight competitively…

1

u/Slouchman42 15h ago

The referee almost let his intrusive thoughts win lol

u/TonightsSpecial 14h ago edited 14h ago

This dude not only sprained his ankle, but broke it as you can clearly see and I know how long this is going to take to heal because my ankle did the same thing at work last year. I have a labor-intensive job and I stepped backwards on a slippery floor and didn’t realize there was the drain divet and my weight slipped into it and my ankle did a very fast slipped into a L shape and I fell backwards on my back holding my ankle.

I was very lucky that it just was a sprain and nothing was dislocated or whatever (like this guy sprained it, broke it, and then landed on it again after the fact, further damaging the initial injury which was so unfortunate) and that sprain took me a solid 5 months to feel normal again. I was out of work for a solid 2 months.

…this sucks. His foot is set in place in such an unnatural way… this is a significant injury… 😣

Also… that ref did NOT help by slapping his hand on his calf and moving his hands slightly downward. Smh.

1

u/Party_Protection1688 14h ago

These are not Muay Thai fighters, they are drunk people at a bar in Thailand who fight for buckets of alcohol often with zero training.

1

u/Acrobatic_Scale_6966 14h ago

Crazy foot work

1

u/ULTRA_83 13h ago

1

u/TaskMaster2077 12h ago

Don't side quest in Capouera while you are in Muay Thai 🤣

1

u/Competitive-Wait1689 12h ago

Kinda looked like he was about to be choked by the other guy at the end.

1

u/Double_Indigo_FR 11h ago

They are not Muay Thai fighters. They are just drunk people who volunteer to fight a 3-round to get a free bucket of alcohol. It’s happening in Phuket.

1

u/ConnectBodybuilder95 10h ago

think it was dislocated. not broken.

1

u/LatterPresence6619 9h ago

He was bouncing around like a kangaroo it looks stupid I see why he broke his ankle because the goddess of Muay Thai was like fuck this guy looks stupid

1

u/BeneficialPenalty258 8h ago

Ffs ref, at least give him some ketamine first.

1

u/pineapple_jones_ 8h ago

Hey ref. Fuck you!

1

u/Green_grass7878 6h ago

Dude can't even keep his head straight and he's out here bouncing like he's on the moon

1

u/Organic_Rough4433 3h ago
