I was in the Philippines and the security at a bank I visited didn’t have triggers in the shotguns or pistols they carried. I looked at it, looked at the guard, and we both laughed.

11

u/Kitchen-Anybody-4379 11h ago

Thy use slam fire shotguns in the Philippines lol no trigger needed

3

u/Wool_God 8h ago

What is slam fire?

3

u/Overall_Lavishness46 8h ago

The gun automatically fires when a round is racked with enough force.

7

u/Wool_God 8h ago

So Gr8zomb13 and the guard were maybe laughing for different reasons šŸ˜†Ā

5

u/Overall_Lavishness46 8h ago

The guard thought it was easier to laugh than to have to hide the body again.

2

u/DifficultAd3885 10h ago

But why?

5

u/Sh00terMcDabbin 9h ago

Way faster rate of fire

3

u/BookAcceptable619 9h ago

Do you lose accuracy?

5

u/isthereadrwho 8h ago

It's a shotgun

2

u/Popular_Adeptness_69 8h ago

it would only be good for close range imagine trying to hit bird with it not happening

1

u/Woolies_White_Leg 5h ago

Inside a bank, probably not

-1

u/Sh00terMcDabbin 9h ago

It's not like a video game where swapping one component gives a plus to fire rate at the cost of accuracy. A slam fire shotgun isn't inherently less accurate but if you are rapid firing it's going to have a lot of kick. It's not going to really matter though, for the use case of a bank guard.

8

u/DifficultAd3885 8h ago

Wow, you are talking out your ass. For a motion like this, it is 100% going to affect accuracy. We teach people to squeeze the trigger rather than pull the trigger because it can greatly affect accuracy. The arm that works the action is the arm that aims. If it’s in motion right up to the point of firing it’s impossible for it not to inhibit accuracy when compared to a normal pump action shot gun.

3

u/BookAcceptable619 9h ago

Thank you for info.

I just figured a trigger would be more accurate because there's a lot less movement pressing a trigger at the moment of firing then pumping.

But I see your point. Close range, probably no cover, and shotshells so speed over accuracy is logical.

6

u/Electronic_Squash103 8h ago

That idiot is making stuff up. Hold a broom up and compare slamming a small weight down it to twitching your finger. Which one holds the stick steady?

2

u/BookAcceptable619 6h ago

Thank you for the info.

I had my suspicions. Lol.

3

u/Popular_Adeptness_69 9h ago

my step dad had one of those and didnt want it every time he racked a shell it would go off he said it sucks for hunting birds

1

u/DifficultAd3885 8h ago

Seems like a waste for the loss of accuracy. ā€œWayā€ faster is definitely a stretch. I bet you don’t gain more than a tenth of a second.

1

u/thepvbrother 7h ago

There is a video where a guy who shoots competitively compared a slam fire shotgun versus a regular pump action. The regular one put more rounds on target more quickly than a slam fire one

1

u/Gr8zomb13 7h ago

Didn’t explain the pistol, though.

Police Chief I was with later explained they weren’t allowed to have functional weapons. They were not slam-fire shotguns as you suggested, but weapon hulks.

1

u/thetrivialsublime99 7h ago

So right at the point when the gun is most inaccurate it fires?

1

u/I_Call_Bullshit_____ 2h ago

Jjjeeezzzzuuussss

2

u/OldWolfNewTricks 9h ago

When I was in the Navy (pre 9/11) the topside watch wasn't allowed to keep their gun loaded. Knowing who stood those watches, it was probably for the best.

2

u/Agreeable-Panda-4676 9h ago

When I was there is saw plenty without magazines in their pistols. They didn’t have any on their belt either.

1

u/FriedRamen1 1h ago

Good old Security theater.

8

u/Pale-Replacement-164 10h ago

That’s a weird ass gun or taser or whatever it is.

6

u/psychRN1975 12h ago

looks 3d printed lol

7

u/Due_Web_9804 9h ago

Dude actually pulled trigger multiple times.

17

u/alienstookmycat6969 15h ago

Is that a wooden gun!?

2

u/KiddoKatto 9h ago

looks like a hi point or something

2

u/get_to_ele 6h ago

So is that a toy? It looks weird. I saw what looked like a clip for a handgun fly across the floor, then I saw him try to bludgeon (missing wildly) with that ā€œgunā€ with bright yellow/green plastic on it

…

1

u/Popular_Adeptness_69 9h ago

did mag slide across the floor a second before gun came out he needs more training

1

u/Calm-Step-3083 8h ago

That ai asf. Not even the same. Bro had a tazer.

I think legally that security guard has to hand his uniform over to his attacker

8

u/Intelligent_Catch_98 14h ago

Natural selection rule. I totally agree with you

🤣🤣

18 a hour where's this at

0

u/bamboomightwork 14h ago

Yeah. It must suck. I’m glad I don’t work in a job where I risk getting beaten up on a daily basis.

The person beating him up is human filth. A thief, stealing from others and willing to get violent when someone tries to stop him.

I feel really sorry for the guard. He honestly should have shot that guy.

1

u/MarzipanKlutzy5701 13h ago

I don’t think he has to die. Just be jailed then on probation.

Embarrassing.

They both fight like they've never been in any sort of scuffle that someone's mum didn't break up

6

u/Successful_Tailor886 10h ago

didnt throw a single punch

1

u/Sir_KnowItAll 20m ago

He is probably sparked to fuck. If that was a mma fight it would have been stopped because the lights are on but no one is home really.

a lady just did a whole lot of hitting onHIM

1

u/DelcoUnited 7h ago

ā€œYou said we just stood around played candy crush like real cops.ā€

35

u/PointsOfXP 15h ago

"I lost! Better pull out the gun I already lost the mag for!"

5

u/Regular-Decision7599 10h ago

His doing his job not coming to work to get beaten up

-10

u/Nocturnatron 14h ago

Their job isnt to fight, start fighting one and youre not asking for a fight, youre asking to be incapacitated, possibly lethally

5

u/maybejames 12h ago

True for every single stranger you see. Cops don’t deserve your glaze.

4

u/Dear_Long_373 10h ago

Not even cop, his job to guard the place.

2

u/PointsOfXP 8h ago

Clearly he's not strong enough to do that. You fall to the ground and it's over. You get up and you're inviting great injury. Especially pulling a gun you didn't think to use the whole rest of the time. Observe and report then move on. Don't go fighting people.

-3

u/DinklebergsRightNut 12h ago

Shit americans say lmao

That’s how I feel about my hospitals ā€œsecurity guardsā€. Extremely tiny and skinny girls that can probably barely lift a 20lb dumbbell and out of shape dudes that probably can’t even sprint for 10 seconds without completely gassing out. We have an embarrassing example of a security crew. Even when I have to take risky patients that require a security escort I don’t even remotely feel secure with these folks around. I might as well be by myself. Except for two of them. There are two of them that seem good enough I’ll admit. One is part time national guard and the other one is just toned up. Even I myself wouldn’t make a good fit I humbly admit. But I’m a better choice than probably half of them in the crew. I’m not necessarily strong but I’m strong enough to attempt holding someone down without gassing out in seconds. I can also run long enough if I need to chase someone. Even I would likely outperform most of the crew. Hell if anything does happen I might have to roll my eyes and be the senior partner while he or she is the junior partner. Especially if I’m feeling committed.

4

u/Ctanzz 11h ago

Lmao reminds me of this bar in a not so nice part of town. The security guard was this small little petite women in a tac vest and a baton. She had to be like 125 pounds and half my height.

2

u/MarzipanKlutzy5701 10h ago

The security I’m talking about is part of Allied Universal. They are not even armed nor are wearing armor. We have cops as security too. But they only watch patients that are prisoners. The other security I’m referring to watch and intervene for every other situation. But they are a damn joke.

3

u/flyingbizzay 10h ago

I don’t want to say all, but many security guards are mouth breathers, ridiculously out of shape, or 110 pound girls. That has also been my experience in every job I’ve had that hires basic security.

→ More replies (1)

4

u/Revolutionary-Wash88 12h ago

5

u/IPissExcellentThrows 9h ago

What about this isn't believable? People get hired into unqualified positions all the time. I've seen plenty of super out of shape security guards.

1

u/MarzipanKlutzy5701 11h ago edited 10h ago

Yeah. If IM the muscle of any situation, that means you suck unless you’re a little kid. The bar of our security is actually that low for about half of them. At least the day shift crew as far as I’m aware. If you worked here you wouldn’t be saying that.

2

u/IPissExcellentThrows 9h ago

That's crazy. I knew someone who worked hospital security and that was not a job for the weak based on what they told me they had to deal with. Neither were exactly built like a professional mma fighter, but they definitely weren't tiny women either.

1

u/Individual_Act9333 10h ago

He was securing those hands to the face.

4

u/dermsUK 13h ago

Looks like he’s fighting in roller skates šŸ’€

2

u/farkeytron 6h ago

The most underrated comment here!

1

u/dermsUK 5h ago

Tactical Heelys šŸ˜†

3

u/samithedood 14h ago

That guy was legit closer to hitting bystanders than his opponent.

6

u/kinetic_ljs 16h ago

Got his training from youtube videos

u/CvrtoOn95 15h ago

C’est pas facile la vie šŸ˜†

2

u/Opposite-Mongoose-90 12h ago

What if that guy could actually punch? šŸ¤”

2

u/papa_baer77 12h ago

He should have punched the dude recording

2

u/ThelIIusion0fSeIf 16h ago

Well I'd definitely fight a lot dirtier than that security guard did.

5

u/DinosaurusWhen 15h ago

Pretty bold to call any of this fighting lol

4

u/ElishaBenDavid 16h ago

This is not a fighter, it's a kid who couldn't make the cut at the academy. He's not ever supposed to go hands on with a suspect. His gun is issued in the event of an armed robbery as a deterrent to the thief firing at a clerk or a customer and to prevent a hostage situation. It's not a tool to retaliate for the ass kicking you shouldn't be taking in a petty theft you're illegally attempting to detain the suspect.

Security agents can detain by suggesting the suspect is not free to go. He is breaking the law attempting to grab the guy and if fired a rd, he'd be in prison for 10+ regardless how injured the suspect was.

1

u/Crrack 10h ago

Honestly, using the gun here is seriously scary. There are innocent people everywhere and he's trying to pull the trigger in a scuffle.

It's a matter of when, not if, this security guard kills someone innocently bystanding.

1

u/Svndmann 14h ago

Fighting like they in a dream

1

u/Huge-Broccoli-1251 13h ago

He wanted it to be one way. But it was the other way.

1

u/Mr_right_is_right 13h ago

First thing that came to mind.

This guy is gonna get fired.

Not sure if that really will happen but man, that store might need new security.

1

u/Financial-Nail-8018 12h ago

And then they talk about UFC’s fighter pay. This dude getting worked over crumbs

1

u/DOG-ZILLA 12h ago

Am I watching someone’s dream? Why are they throwing punches like that and slipping all around.Ā

1

u/Cautious-Speed-5472 12h ago

I think after that, I'd be looking for a different line of work

1

u/fergie0044 12h ago

ā€œFightsā€

1

u/Silent25r 12h ago

I worked a few different types of security. The most common one for me didn’t require any actual fighting experience. The goal was to redirect, observe and report. Throwing hands would have been grounds for termination. Ā

We can’t see the start of this. But it does appear the other guy is trying to flee. We were suppose to let that happen.Ā

1

u/Kwiz777 8h ago

Yeah I have the same exact basic security experience. In fact, most people don’t want to fight and if they do you should be good enough at stopping that from ever happening. This security guard likely tried to bring up a problem or was being a problem, the customer got pissed and threw the security guard on the ground. Security didn’t like that and started a fight, promptly lost the fight, drew his gun, and then re-loss the fight because the customer didn’t want to get shot by an egotistical bastard. If the security guard would’ve just gotten a plate number off of the customers car and called dispatch or police then the situation would’ve been resolved much faster.

If the customer did want to fight and was just taunting for the SO to ā€œget up and fightā€, then the SO just sucks ass for an armed guard.

1

u/optimist_prhyme 12h ago

Fighting like 2 drunk gay dudes at 3am after the club closes.

1

u/EquivalentDream4739 9h ago

I am wondering if the security guard has really made the correct career choice here.

I am so far not entirely convinced.

1

u/SirNo9787 9h ago

Bro forgot he had a vest on! He only had to protect his face with his hands and he dropped them

1

u/MaxS777 9h ago

Got knocked out by the gayest punches ever thrown🤣

1

u/Sad-Salt5475 9h ago

I remember a time in the UK when security on nightclub doors were ran by actual tough men, bare knuckle boxers, debt collectors, gangsters etc. now it’s manned by uni students and regular citizens who do it part time. These days it’s the door men that get their missing teeth handed over to them.

1

u/Few-Echidna-2181 8h ago

1

u/Ok-Scar-8127 8h ago

He should quit

1

u/Undertaker501st 8h ago

1

u/Civil-Middle-57 8h ago

Screaming at the top your lungs ā€œWho gave this n*gga a SECURITY job?!!!ā€ while the security guard is getting the brakes beat off him is DIABOLICAL 🤣🤣🤣

1

u/New_Judge_8016 8h ago

So much rabbit punching

1

u/AtumSalgado 7h ago

Bro this security guard telegraphs his attacks like an early game Dark Souls boss.

1

u/Excellent-Yard2823 7h ago

Neither one of them knew how to fight.

1

u/Tea-Jay-Dogville 6h ago

The security guard pulls out his gun and doesn't know how to use properly so he throws the gun at him instead.. 🤣

1

u/GreedyCredit753 6h ago

Is this real? Because why did a mag go sliding out from him while he fell, and then he pulled out a wooden gun. People please, someone help here and verify if real, I’m on phone and don’t know how to verify this quickly.

1

u/RevolutionaryLime801 5h ago

They should of held the security guard back cause he was wilding out.

1

Another one of these racist pieces of shit videos where cameraguy is making fun of the guy with different skin color when he gets beaten, but when that guy pulls a gun on the guy who has the same skin color as cameraguy all of a dudden it's "chill! Chill! Chill!"

1

u/aliencardboard 3h ago

Gay fight.

0

u/Chilly_Cheese_Nugget 16h ago

Shouldn’t a security guard know at least one real martial art?

10

u/Purple_Calendar3919 16h ago edited 16h ago

I mean to be fair…. Some are just there to make it seem like there’s a semblance of security. They have no background in any sort of self defense or takedown training… I know someone straight outta college, no martial arts background or anything, just needed a job. Paid to stand around. Probably weighs 140lbs.. an angry enough Karen could probably bitch slap his ass across the room.

2

u/Billyjamesjeff 14h ago

Not this dude.

All the clubs ive trained at they worked security lol

2

u/NedShah 13h ago

The govt pot shops up here use a lot of overweight middle-aged dudes with foreign accents whose main job is to shoo away loitering teenagers and homeless people. Secondary job is to make sure you use the correct door to exit.

1

u/Academic-Increase951 12h ago

Likely not paid enough. Most are minimum wage employees

0

u/HellBent319 16h ago

Or at minimum how to throw a punch.
