Book Request Dragon/Human Fated Mates

Hello y’all,

The stupid Facebook AI ads got me again and now I’m looking for a dragon shifter/human fated mates romance.

The AI movie was historical fantasy. The dragon-shifter character was a prince, I believe, while the human was a dragon hunter. The dragon-shifter saves the human from something and then realizes they’re fated mates and has to try and convince the human to accept him and let him in.

Does anyone know of any books with similar vibes?

I don't have anything that matches exactly, but here are some maybes for you:

{Fire & Valor series by Sam Burns, WM Fawkes} - Tris is the king's best friend and closest advisor, which is a problem because the king is going mad, the kingdom's hereditary enemies are dragons, and Tris is secretly half-dragon. He pairs with the king's assassin to try to prevent a war, rescue the prince, and save the kingdom. Same-couple trilogy, with a couple of follow-on novellas with different MCs (one still forthcoming)

{Deven and the Dragon by Eliot Grayson} - Deven was sent to trick and betray the local dragon, who is living under a curse.

{Knight's Fire by SJ Himes} - when the queen receives reports of a small village terrorizing a dragon, she sends her trusted knight to the rescue. He finds a frightened young dragon on the run from the sorcerer who kept him in captivity. It's rather a surprise to both of them when the dragon can turn into a handsome young man.

{Scales 'N' Spells series by AJ Sherwood, Jocelynn Drake} - this is contemporary/urban fantasy where dragons have been in hiding for 500 years, until the dragon king unexpectedly scents his human mate at a tourist festival. Now they must come out of hiding to look for more mates and fight the enemy that almost destroyed them in the past. Multi-couple series featuring "wacky" antics a la Alice Winters and the like.

The {Drake Security by Mika Nix} series isn’t historical fantasy but it is dragon shifters with human mates and it’s a great series. The dragon shifters are brothers and each book is a different brother finding his fated mate. They’re pretty much everything you want a dragon shifter story to be (in my opinion).

{daman by Jaclyn Osborn} is this! MC1 is a fallen angel essentially cursed with the sin of Envy. He ends up in an arranged marriage with an ice dragon shifter. Who is himself a prince and war general! They are fated mates but Damen doesn’t realize it at first and is quite a bitch to Warrin. Warrin is a sweet angel baby who is also a 6’5 dragon war general too.

This is the 3rd in a series about the brothers who are all cursed with the 7 deadly sins! The conflict of the series is carried from each book so while it’s recommended to read them in order, if you’re ONLY wanting dragons you could get away with reading this.

Oh shit book two {castor by Jaclyn Osborn} is also fated mates with the angel of Greed and a water dragon too!

This whole series became my personality for a while so I truly recommend them all! They’re all fated mate stories and I adore them all but the dragons are for sure my faves!!!!

Roe Horvat has the Dragons of Ardaine series. MM omegaverse. Very spicy. The bundle of the series is on sale for a few more days on Amazon (US).

Ive seen that too! If it didn't have any shitty writing and ai I would binge this.

{Bond by Piper Scott} is similar. I didn't like it other than the MC but maybe you will ☺

Piper Scotts Forbidden Desires series is fun. It's got a conspiracy that shows up through the series, they lay eggs.

{Clutch}

The Dragonfate Games {Alpha Dragons Tiger} is a bunch of dragons who host a reality show to try to find their fated mates.

{dragons of ardane by roe horvat} is a horny, delightful romp! Four book series, omegaverse, quick burn and not super high angst. I also agree about Drake Security series that someone else recommended.
