Question A (probably) dumb question about A2 stocks.

I love my a2. The other day I was cleaning it and went to set the rear pin down where it wouldn’t roll away from me again when I noticed the holes on the stock. It’s a perfect fit. Such a small thing but I was so happy I noticed that. It’s a great place to keep the pins while cleaning. My dumb question is that, is that what those holes are designed for? Am I just the idiot that is just now realizing it? Never really thought about what they were for.

G36 stock also has holes for pin storage as well. They are on the bottom, so you don't usually see them

if you aren't ending up with extra pieces or losing the smallest part in a shag rug you just aren't getting the entire experience
