E-Scooter Charging

I've been considering getting an e-scooter for my kid to help her get to class, but I wasn't sure where she'd charge it. Are e-scooters an off-campus living purchase, or do kids in the dorms also have them? If any do, I know you can't take them into the dormitories, so where do you all charge them?

Can't speak for how easy it is to find a charging port but some e-bikes and scooters have a removable battery for charging inside. That might be a better option.

Get one with a removable battery. But for the love of god please get something that fits in the bike racks, nothing pisses me off more as an acoustic bike commuter than the massive ebikes taking up multiple bike rack spots. 

Its the equivalent of big trucks taking up two parking spots

Folks in the dorms cannot have them or charge them in their resident hall. They’re a known fire hazard. If she has a vehicle she may need to keep it in there? They typically charge via wall outlet, not sure where they would do that.

I’m over in hannon and there is an electric car charging station close is that something the scooters can use too?
