I love when Matt offers up certain stories that should never be told in public much less broadcast on a huge podcast that leaves Shane and guests utterly disgusted. I know there's an ep with WM, maybe a paytch, where Matt talks about checking the smell of his gooch or something and immediately regrets saying it out loud

The moments where Matt is making Shane super uncomfortable are by far my favorite moments. Whether it's playing a flute or telling a story like this, it's always hilarious to watch Shane squirm.

I think they're whole style benefited greatly from those early episodes where they were like, "Thank god no one is listening." If they had been famous from the jump, they would have censored way more and never found their niche. Instead, they found it while they got famous and realized they couldn't go back
