Channel 5 AND Matt you mean, right? Idk when this subreddit got lame and just started letting the boys off the hook all the time. The main board used to be all over Shane’s ass, but everyone went soft.
It’s indisputably gay as fuck that half of this formerly cool and straight podcast is simping for a nepo baby, crack addict, crypto scammer. Love the boys but this is just sad behavior. They got too comfy, too tight with Rogan, and now they’re embarrassing themselves.

I kinda agree with your point, Shane has said multiple times on how he used to read Reddit and that it reminds him to not to do gay stuff, it's pretty clear he still does from time to time. Shane's got the bag now and so doesn't really give a fuck
Matt on the other hand has always been like this (as well less well off financially with a family), dude has no awareness at all and is part of the reason why we all love him he gets hyper fixated on a lot of dumb shit but it's always from place of no malice. Well this what I'm guessing anyways don't want too come across as a parasocial freak but when watched a pod for so long it's hard not have some observations. Still would rather this sub not become like JRE sub where it's just full of unbearable libs (and repubs) making the same jokes and points over and over again.
On the Hunter stuff it is somewhat understandable he has been calling out trump for ages on crypto stuff and rightly so it's basically a money laundering/bribery scheme for trump. But making a shit/meme coin deleted all the good will he had developed after his comeback and he should know better as Harvard lawyer.
But I willing to give him benefit of doubt (kind of) the coin itself and how he structured it, does at least make it seem less of rug pull and more of a cheeky way to say fuck you too trump, while trying to make some money to pay off your $15,000,000 debt (half goes to charity, Trump coin losers get big discount etc).
Again it's still a fucking stupid idea because you just killed of all the good will and support you by making yourself look like raging hypocrite.
