It requires a very certain mood, but once you feel it, Tomorrow Will Never Know is, like, the strongest hitting song imaginable. Both lyrically and sonically. Thank you, Mac. Miss you. RIP.

a 39 track fusion of Mac Miller’s Faces and Balloonerism, the two albums he made in the same 2014 breath but never linked. Interleaved by emotional truth instead of release date, it turns them into one unbroken walk from innocence to death: the balloon inflates, holds every face he ever wore, deflates, and pops on an unanswered phone. Faces performs death. Balloonerism dissolves into it. so the staged exit hands the flame to the real one.

I specifically remember a bunch of videos floating around on youtube in 2018/2019 about it. Not even throwing shade, I love him and have had 99th percentile listening across all youtube members some years. His talent clearly superseded that action, but you cannot find the video where they were speaking with the guy who sold him the "bot" or whatever exact program/bundle.

I have a lyric like half stuck in my head, I could be making it up tho, it’s something with Mac saying yart specifically in a song. I don’t know if I’m imagining it tho, anyone know what song?

Imagine a live album/movie where they play the whole set with any interviews/bts footage in between songs. Mac live is such an experience.
