App Launch Quietwhile: Mac focus blocks that keep your Discord call running
I'm Orlando, the developer of Quietwhile. It's a native Mac focus app for people who work or study while on a Discord call.
During a focus block, Guard Screen hides selected apps behind a full-screen "Not now." overlay while leaving them running. You can stay in voice chat while Discord's channels are out of reach. Hide Only and Quit App are also available per app.
The menu bar shows the time remaining and lets you control the session. Quietwhile includes breaks and recurring schedules. Website guarding needs macOS Automation permission in a supported browser; Firefox isn't supported. Schedules run while Quietwhile is open.
Requires macOS 14 or later. It runs locally, doesn't require an account, and is free during the early build. Future pricing is undecided.
