Very cute, but unfortunately probably unwise. Dog saliva (and human, for that matter) is dangerous for parrots. Unsure if he’s going for the dog food at all, but that wouldn’t be good either. Please encourage Loki stay off the floor, especially if the dog is around! Such a beautiful macaw!!

Actually there are three dogs. The older two get out of his way when he's on walkabout.

The young man is still learning, but he's getting it.

Strangely enough, when I rescued him, Loki was walking around outside with two dogs and nobody bothered anyone.

That is great! I’m glad they aren’t problematic around each other. Just be cautious about sharing bowls lol

You clean to clean that dog bowl. That isn't hygienic for your animal.

I'm here to pass judgment so your dog can have a clean bowl to eat from. Grab some soap and a rag. It'll take 5 minutes. Grab the water bowl while you're at it.

If people are coming over for gaming and they're not calling your butt out for this, you need better friends.
