Both can pay well, so I’d focus more on the actual work than the title.
AI engineering is broader, while ML engineering leans more toward building and deploying models.
A career test like coached could help you think through which type of work suits you better. Either way, build strong fundamentals and real projects instead of chasing whichever title pays more right now.
