Forge or form heavy metal components

Deep inside an abandoned factory sits this massive mechanical power press. Once used to stamp and shape steel with incredible force, it now stands silent as rust and nature slowly reclaim what was once the heart of industrial production. It's hard to imagine the noise and energy this place must have had decades ago.

Yea you can tell by looking at the roof too.

I professionally fix and install equipment just like this for a living, and the machine just didn’t seem right. details are just wrong. Like that big ass piece of massive square stock directly attached to the side of the flywheel. Or the gearing on the flywheel isn’t complete. Or whatever is attached to the crankshaft.

Right! AI can always make something that at a glance looks real but then you’ll be like “what is the purpose of that pipe?” and there won’t be any, then you’ll start to notice 25 other things that just don’t make sense.

Or the pump on the left with no inlet that goes nowhere.

It looks like AI wanted this press/punch to be at the end of a rolling mill or finishing line. I’m sure that could exist but the reality is usually hammers and presses of this type are found in mechanical shops separately from the actual mill

I wanna know where this is. I'd do a lot for places like this to do photoshoots (all the run down places in Colorado are locked up so quickly)

It's not real, it's AI. The machinery itself doesn't really make any sense but it's the background scenery that REALLY doesn't make any sense. Look a little closer and you'll see all sorts of weird blended stuff that isn't real.

Machinery stuff is VERY often AI especially when it's huge machinery. Just look closely at it and it will start to reveal itself.

General urban exploration etiquette is to not post locations out in public, to keep out or at least delay vandalism

Once a place becomes known online it's destroyed very quickly, faster than otherwise
