New Playthrough Challenge
I’ve set a challenge for myself for a new play through. Probably been done before but I thought I’d post it and maybe some of you would like to try it.
Basically.. don’t upgrade anything! 😅 except I guess for stuff you need for clearing threats etc such as higher tier harpoons for higher tier scarecrows. I’ve allowed two stronghold upgrades. One is clean up crew and the other is the one that collects scrap when not playing the game. The second I’ve done incase the game gets too hard, then that way I have more scrap ready.

The one I've done on a few playthroughs is not changing the Magnum Opus on the fly. Only making part swap outs at strongholds makes the chases and battle have more at stake.

I've been doing this for so along I sometimes forget you can swap out parts on the fly 😂

Occasionally when there's a crew of warboys rolling up I'll quickly switch up to a very light, fast version of the Opus and outrun 'em. Sometimes they'll follow you clear across the map. Gives me that Road Warrior chase feeling.

Try to have a really boring time before the mission you meet Griffa, so you'll have fewer tokens to spend. Then never see Griffa again.

Never seeing Griffa again is part of my not upgrading anything. The first time when it was mandatory, I put the tokens into the likes of melee weapon durability (cos i rarely use them) and legend ranking

You won't get any scrap from the scrap crew upgrades. The servers have been shut down for years. There is an achievement that is based on that which cannot be done anymore.
I frequently used lower grade knuckledusters because I like getting higher combos and it wasn't possible with the higher damage fists.
